  1. What was the max number of persistent logins allowed per account?  I THINK I may have asked this before, but I really don't remember.  From my experience, when I login on a fourth device it will get things all screwed up on the other three for a while.

  2. Maybe just switch to fully battery powered?  I recently replaced one with a First Alert that has the mute button, fewer false alarms than the old Kiddie, and the convenience of the mute button when it does "false" alarm when the wife cooks.

I need to test the upstairs unit, thanks for the reminder.

i agree that a company that young is pretty risky, but they're in a growth business and they make some seriously high-end equipment. company is called systech stainless. idk, i might try and do the following:

get my resume to him this week and maybe get an offer. if i do, i'll volunteer for the layoff that becomes effective next friday.  it's a temporary layoff, so i'd be called back in a few months. in those few months i could feel things out and see if i'm a good fit and vice versa. virtually no risk to me....if i like the new gig, i just decline my recall rights when the layoff is over. if it isnt working out, i go back to work at my current place.

but a plan is just a list of shit that's not going to happen the way you think it will, so probably fantasy.

That sounds like a good plan, right there.  See what they have to offer, and go from there.

I periodically look for at available opportunities, even when I'm not "really" looking.

In this day an age very few companies are loyal to their EEs.  If you happen to work for one you are lucky (mine certainly isn't).  You can be out on your ass before you know it.

Always have a plan and keep your options open.

I was told a long time ago, by a manager that I was working for at the time, that you should ALWAYS keep your resume ready, and options open.  He left that company, returned, and is still with them (last I heard) and that was over 15 years ago.  That company moved all production out of the country.

I just bought a new pair of Redwing water proof work boots that I can also use for riding they are like walking on air $180 I could spit shine then and wear them to a wedding LOL

$180?  Cheap-ass!  LOL  Red-wing doesn't mess around with charging a shit-ton for their boots.  My current pair is almost 3 years old, and other than new footbeds each year, they've been great!  They don't get worn much in the summer though, too hot for that!

Speaking as someone that's been attached for almost the entirety of his adult life...why are you people so antsy to get married and have a family? The grass is not greener over here....and you have to mow it every fucking week.

The same yard. Over and over and over and over....

    A little late, but:

I rode a small naked bike for 4 years (in a city with NO freeways)

Its if funny that so many low cc bikes have fairings with their limited speeds and that they're beginner aimed and likely to get dropped.

And that they're parallel twined when so few large full faired are.

The fairings DO make more of a difference than you would think!  My Ninja 250 had been down, no fairings when I bought it.  It is definitely a different bike since I put them on it.  Maybe I will get to ride it this year...

They're related. The spray was "fluticasone". Two shots up each nose hole twice a day. I did that for about two months and it would come back from time to time. After about a year of random shots, I'm all better. My allergies were bad enough that my eyes would pour tears and I couldn't stop sneezing. Never had allergies as a kid. This stuff fixed it.

Generic Flonase.  I used Omnaris before they discontinued their discount program, switched to a couple others that didn't work, then used this stuff.  It works.  Under $20 for 3 bottles at Sam's Club.

Before insurance and discount card we got from the family doc, we were looking at close to $600. Out of pocket we ended up around $200 for the set. That isn't a ridiculous amount by far, but if we didn't have insurance....

Living in SEO, where there is a high rate of unemployment, I can't imagine folks who don't have good insurance to help defray that cost.

Don't forget, they expire and you have to buy new ones!

Do they REALLY expire, or is it that they have just been out of the manufacturer's control for a long enough period that they can't legally ensure that the product will be good?  Maybe they should be packaged better, using the increased profits for some good?
