  1. I'm trying out Tidal for streaming music right now.  I'm too busy (lazy) to make a playlist as well, so apple music, and Spotify are limited.  Many of the "radio stations" on them only have a couple hours of music on them before they repeat, where Google Play music keeps going, although it does repeat a track here and there, it's not just a short playlist.  Amazon is kinda somewhere in between the others, and just isn't all that good at all, yet not all that bad.  Mediocre at best.

So far, the sound quality of Tidal seems to be good, and it IS their "selling point" for their service.  It seems the music it picks is much more diverse than either Google, or Pandora pick.

This. Not a smart move as a business owner to tweet any personal opinions on anything, especially that.

But I agree about the bandwagoning shit, its a problem in this country.

And for the record, if the food is good there, someone let me know because now I know there wont be a line!

Not as good (at least not as consistently) as it used to be!

This is the reason why a LOT of my social media posting takes a good review before I press enter.  Many times, I just delete what I was about to say, because it would not get the point across well, or sound dumb, or would be very easily taken the wrong way.  I think the majority of the posts on social media should be AT LEAST proofread for spelling and grammar.  The content should also be review, and thought about for a at least a minute or 2 before sending it out.

    For real?  Food was fantastic

That's what I'm saying!  I really wanted to get back there and try that brisket deal that you had!  There's only one other place I have been that has a burger that compares to the one I had there.  I now haz a sad.  :(

I think you'd be surprised what you can do with a minimum amount of tools. Could always borrow some tools to help you complete a project.

Well, I now have a project to start with.  The oldest leech kid in the house now has a tortoise, and the tank that it resides in needs a stand.  I suppose I should get to work planning what to make to hold it.

^ This! There's no end to whiners about whatever it is you make. Can't do it themselves, but they tell you how to do.

I started making furniture full time a few years ago. Started out making some stuff for a local interior design firm and was amazed at the cash I could get for simple shit. Bikes parts take forever to make and I don't get shit for them. I can do a dining table in 3 days and get $3,500 for it. So now I'm a furniture designer <gg>. Just wish bike parts apid more as I'd rather make them.

    Some stuff I made...

Badass!  I have contemplated making some furniture for personal use, but lack the tools (and experience) to do so.

Gotta love when an app on my phone won't recognize another app where data is backed up...  having to re-enter 50 phone numbers AGAIN is such a pain in the ass.  I thought technology helped make things easier, but most days it just doesn't seem like it.

It makes me miss rotary phones, cassette players, lawn darts, Mercurochrome - you know back when things were simple...  lol

How about when one of the carrier's auto-installed apps kills the fingerprint reader on your phone?  Took a while for someone to figure that one out!  I'm just glad that I found the post where someone did figure it out!

Most private employers also can fire someone for their conduct when they're representing the company, off the clock.  These guys are well known by the team that they play for, and therefore are representing the company at pretty much any time.

I REALLY don't give a rat's ass about them kneeling during the anthem, as they are paid entertainers, and if I was to watch football (I don't often) it would be to see the game, not what the players' views are.

It really saddens me that we are still even having the problems that are the root reasoning for the start of all of this.  I saw some numbers the other day that something like 1.4% of the police involved shooting involved an unarmed black person.  Ideally that would be a big for ZERO, but it's not realistic , just like zero% unemployment is not realistic.

The strike-through text above is probably not correct, I'm looking around and cannot find the source, I will update, remove, or return to regular text if/when I do find the source and verify.

Most private employers have rules about conduct.  1st amendment rights have nothing to do with those rules even though many people incorrectly interpret them that way.  Your employer can fire you for things you say or do at work.  They can also fire you for things you post on social media outside of work hours.

They key to the 1st Amendment is "Congress shall make no law."  Trump saying sonuvabiches should be fired, or employers actually firing you for things you say or do is in no way threatening 1st Amendment rights.

1st Amendment - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

we will be on the Keweenaw penninsula, by Michigan Tech. Its going to be a big task since we donated most of our winter stuff when we left Columbus and got rid of our AWD vehicles. Actually I dont even have a car anymore.

WTF?  From the beach to the arctic?  WOW.

A couple good friends of mine swear by Arctic Cats.  One makes the trip to the UP every year, and the other just rides around here.  One thing I noticed, the bigger sled with bigger engine and better ride quality is much better for long rides.  The "hot rod" sleds are fun, for a little while.

  10. Check the cams now, before you get too far down the worm-hole.  I don't think the V45 was as bad, but the early Honda V4's loved to grind them down to nothing.

I love everything about the V4's, the sound, the torque, but I hated that mine kept breaking!  Mine was a Interceptor 500.
