Ebay or such for a rear shock, and even if you replace the caliper and master cylinder for th efront brake, I would guess you wouldn't have more than $100 in it all. For tires, I have the Bridgestone Battlax BT45's on mine, and they do pretty well. ninja250.org has an abundance of information about these bikes in their FAQ.

THAT would be anything with a powerstroke, newer than a 7.3. Ford messed up when they quit using the 7.3.

Yeah, I'm not much of a fan of the chip and seal there, but the deer problem seemed to be fixed when we went through there on Labor Day. I think you just picked the wrong day to go through there, FTL. Now, I hope you get a bike for next year, so that I have to quit reminding you that you don't have one! -
