  1. For the record, I haven't flaked on any gun shows. I haven't even considered going, as I'm too poor to buy anything.
  2. Same for the 1000rr. I've never seen either bike have the front wheel off the ground. Well, unless you count lifting the sumo into Ben's truck last weekend.
  3. I'm just here for the food place recommendations.
  4. 'cause with MidgetTodd, repeating the whoolies is a given!
  5. Busy planning the CSBA ride?
  6. Yeah, I looked at their menu, that's why I think it's my kinda place! Now I'm getting hungry.
  7. Are they just breakfast and lunch? That sounds like my kinda place!
  8. I just got the tickets a little while ago, and had to get a tow back home, thanks to Chrysler and plastic fuel lines.. ANYWAY, it looks as though I have 4 extra tickets for tomorrow and Sunday, with paddock pass. Anyone, anyone?
  9. I was just talking with a Columbus PD officer, and he says they are seriously looking at the carbon E7. BMW diesel, making 250hp and 400 lb.ft. of torque. http://www.carbonmotors.com/ As long as they deliver all that they have in the works, it would be awesome for them.
  10. From what I can tell, they have roller bearings. They don't "spin" in the journal like in a car. That's why there's a chance that it is ok, but then again, it has signs of being a bearing, such as prograssively getting worse, and the metal shavings. Unless one of the chain guides failed, I can't imagine where the metal shavings came from, unless it is a failed bearing.
  11. I'm shocked mine hasn't gone yet. I guess I'm too easy on it? They're slow. I think it was watered down anti-seize. Synthetic anti-seize at that! It's cool to see the metal shavings in oil from a failed engine or transmission. Some pretty cool colors! Too bad that "coolness" comes at such a price.
  12. I can't imagine it doing well at that price point. I think the Ninja 250 is pretty well overpriced for what it is. I love my little older 250, but the price they're getting for the new one will ensure that I'll save my money for a bigger bike (not that I would get a NEW bike anyway!)
  13. I'd like to, but I have to take the kid to the doctor for a checkup, on top of working.
  14. MidgetTodd wouldn't have hurt it, in his defense, I don't think the way he rode it had much to do with the situation.
  15. And get a bike TD! Geesh.
  16. ^^^This. I think it all comes from the way he came across in that one thread, then it all just got blown WAY out of proportion. Now, just go back to your old self TD.
  17. I'm sort of in the same boat with my Camaro, except that I need to do some work on it before I could sell it. I would really like to keep it, as it's not costing me a dime just sitting there, but at the same time, it's just going to deteriorate. If I sell it, I could probably get enough to get another bike, and put the VF500 up as a project. Right now, I have very little interest in a project car, since I've been bitten by the bike bug! If you want to have more money saved up, just get another part time job!
  18. The egg farm barn collapse was just outside Croton, on Croton Rd. They're doing some major reconstruction work on all the barns in the area, and I think those were work in process, which may have been why they fell.
  19. Wow, I had no idea he was a soldier. It has been a crazy day out in this area. Egg farm barn colapse killed 2 construction workers as well.
