Just don't ride any faster or hard than YOU are ready for and you'll be fine. Riding with others DOES help improve your skills.
  3. Rain... I haz a sad now. MAYBE it will bypass us though....
  4. B-U-R-P Relief. I can haz a prize now? Congrats on actually accomplishing something! I have troubles with that sometimes!
  5. That's one thing I like about my bikes, there are a few more decent tire sizes for them that what you're dealing with.
  6. Which part was funny? Just the fact that you know who I'm talking about?
  7. Yes, he's white, long haired at the time, not exactly clean cut, harley dude. He was probably legally armed at the time, as well. Hmm.. sounds like a fun time was had!
  8. I would hope that Disney would have screened the people they have dressing as their characters. The supervision is the key here. It's getting to the point that we can't let kids out of our sight at all. I remember when I was a kid, I was told to get lost (or something to that effect!)
  9. Are there any wheel swap options for that bike? I know that people put CBR 600 wheels on the early Interceptors, so that they can use more common tire sizes.
  10. I say file a complaint with the PD if this happened to your kid, get them to investigate, to at least give them a chance to know that it was crossing the line. I agree with not having a knee-jerk reaction, and not going overboard, as they would. From someone dressed in an elephant costume?
  11. Oh, so you're calling the circle jerk a group hug, there pivot boy?
  12. Holy cow! I'm in shock! I figured you'd say PP's, or something like that fo sho! I even told the OP that I bet you would. I guess that they're not available though.

    Boo, that sux...
  14. I've been to Reynosa and Monterrey as well, without incident, and we were treated well, better than by some co-workers! When in the border towns, did you stay in Mexico, or stay in McAllen and cross the border everyday?
  15. The disparity in how their law is enforced does not make it invalid on the northern border, any more than it does here in the U.S.A. does it? Let's face it, terrorists can come in from either way (referring the DHS involvement.) So, Cheech, you've never gotten a work permit, or visa when you've been there to work? Every time I went there for my former job, that was the first thing we did, because some of the guys that had been there other times before me had been checked, verifying that they DO check this stuff!

    Nice looking VF!
  17. I knew it was getting close to the cords the other day when I saw it.. I think I told you last year that tire had to go!
  18. 36 I guess it's just what I grew up around!
  19. WWJD? He would have been taken time to hang out with them. I think it's all the radicals that do crazy things in the name of God that you're thinking of. The way I have been taught is that you have a choice to follow, and one should not be persecuted for choosing not to!
  20. They try to beat the feeling of compassion into people. That does not work. If you want someone to be compassionate, you have to show them compassion.. I guess I need to work on this myself, when it comes to dealing with the kids.....
