Just don't ride any faster or hard than YOU are ready for and you'll be fine. Riding with others DOES help improve your skills.

Are there any wheel swap options for that bike? I know that people put CBR 600 wheels on the early Interceptors, so that they can use more common tire sizes.

I've been to Reynosa and Monterrey as well, without incident, and we were treated well, better than by some co-workers! When in the border towns, did you stay in Mexico, or stay in McAllen and cross the border everyday?

The disparity in how their law is enforced does not make it invalid on the northern border, any more than it does here in the U.S.A. does it? Let's face it, terrorists can come in from either way (referring the DHS involvement.) So, Cheech, you've never gotten a work permit, or visa when you've been there to work? Every time I went there for my former job, that was the first thing we did, because some of the guys that had been there other times before me had been checked, verifying that they DO check this stuff!

They try to beat the feeling of compassion into people. That does not work. If you want someone to be compassionate, you have to show them compassion.. I guess I need to work on this myself, when it comes to dealing with the kids.....
