While I haven't used DTM's services personally, I can tell you that I know someone that builds Harley engines and know his stuff will agree that Brian is a good guy, and knows his stuff!

I agree with the link you posted for break-in procedure. Run up about 1/2 throttle several times, decelerate down to lower RPM's in between without the brake. Then increase the throttlw, and speed for a few more runs.

I go home for lunch most of the time. Once in a while, I'll get fast food, or Subway, or BBQ and eat back at the shop. I'm less than 2 miles from work, and it's closer to get home than to go somewhere for lunch!

I have rode home with a tire before. Bungee net FTW! I stopped a couple times to make sure it was holding on ok, and continued on! I also had someone riding behind me part of (or was it all) the way, just in case.

What I was thinking, but didn't know about it being derived from the R6. I'm still wondering what it would take to get a "R" up to the FZ6 power level. Just thinking aloud more than anything!

That's interesting. From looking at the Yammy website, the engine is pretty close to the same. I wonder if the FZ6 electronics can be swapped to the R version to get the same power? Is the engine the same?

No need for a widescreen, I just haven't seen a 4:3 LCD monitor in quite a while. In which case, You'll need at least a 19 to recover what you lose by going wide. Just go look at them, they may even have something on clearance, if ya go to Microcenter! I love that place! It's a toss up between there and Iron Pony for my favorite store in town!

You can get the 22" Acers for something like $169 or so. Well under $200, and you WILL love the bigger monitor.

22" or bigger. They're too cheap to bother repairing. It's almost to expensive to repair the monitor in a laptop anymore, unless it's a higher end laptop/
