  1. You remembered the important part! My dumb move of the day was not staying home with this terrible cold that I have.....

    Water Damage

Fix the valve, tear out the ceiling and leave it for the winter. There's riding to be done!

    Water Damage

If he can do it with his jacked up hand! Poor Moose...
  4. How would you know? You don't ride either one! Listen to Moose on the cwooozah part. I hear he knws how to equip the saddle bags with anything that anyone might need!
  5. What he said. Make sure you know exactly what is expected in the deal, and at the end of the deal.
  6. I was just messing with Likwid, since the opportunity presented itself, and I knew he'd see it! Cruisers are for anyone that wants one (that is ABLE to ride.)
  7. They're for Jews as well! When you gettin a sportbike Likwid? You've mentioned it many times on here. Are you seriously thinking about it?
  8. DUH! I could see THAT captain obvious! That wasn't a good enough response to keep this thread off topic....
  9. Looks like you're confused... Maybe you're just a mutt?
  10. Nevermind, I just though someone would take your comment to "the gutter"
  11. Chevysoldier, what do you think of these?
  12. Aaahhh man, I keep getting you and UP mixed up! Why does it always have to be a racial issue? I was talking about the facial features... (this could go NWS SO fast!)
  13. That one looks kinda like you Sam! (Not that I've ever met you in person to actually back up this statement! )
  14. I think someone needs to tell the GF that he's riding, and if she doesn't like it, too bad! On the serious side, I tend to prefer Cowasockee myself. Take a spin on each of them and see what you think of them. I just don't think I'd be thinking about a cwoozah, but maybe a VFR.
  15. I have a Toshiba laptop, 17" display, Turion TL-60 dual core, 4 GB ram, 320 GB hard drive (7200 RPM) sitting on top of a table top type roll around cart with a set of speakers mounted to it for work. I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow of it in front of my toolbox and tool cart. IF I ever get my computer desk cleaned up here at home, I'll smap a pic of the dual 22" monitors connected to my desktop PC. I also have a couple "boxes" in the closet doing server duty. One runs Windows Home Server which does backup, file sharing, and web server, the other MS Server 2003, for email. I really need a better email solution! Oh, and my webpage is crap, and I don't even know for sure if it's running! So yeah, I'm a bit of a geek, but nothing like Casper!
  16. The way the land contract worked that I did was like this. I had already found the place, this guy bought it (he was a real estate broker as well). I paid a set amount more than the payment. After 2 years, I bought it at a pre-determined amount, which at the time was about right. I got decent financing when I got my own mortgage, but everything kept going up. I think the insurance was close to $200 more a month than when I first did the land contract! Lot's of partying, and wasted money later, I got foreclosed on. Dumb move, but I actually came out better anyway, since I had to carry PMI, it's not coming back on me now. My credit was already trashed at the point anyway. My entire situation has changed since then, and living there would not work out as well as it does here. I have looked at what they have it valued at now onthe auditor's website, and it's only about 60-70% of what I had the mortgage for! THAT tells me that there were some REAL shenanigans going on in the real estate market! The only thing the same as back then is I still suck at following a budget, and I'm still broke as a joke!
  17. I've done it. It didn't work out so well for me, mainly because of the timing. It was at the high point of the housing "bubble" when homes were being over-valued bu A LOT, and I got financed for MUCH more than I should have, when it was time to settle the 2 year agreement of the land contract. I'll add more later, dinner's on the table.
