So ya think ya can ride a sportbike now?
-
Mine is to get all my finances under control and to pay off all my debt, including my auto loan, and to have that much in savings.
Good luck with that one! My goal is just to have finances under control, and be working on paying off all our debt.

Thought about it, would need to find someone to watvh the kids, and it would only be a short ride if I did get out!

Also good to hear Family is important to all of you.
That's the kind of people I wanna be around.
I'll change my post, then...
It IS refreshing to hear people are more interested in being with family than WHAT they got!

Watching my son opening his presents, being only 10 months! Also, all the stuff the older 2 (my step kids) got, and will likely forget about half of in a matter of days.
I also got the balaclava that I had picked out a few weeks ago,and was the only thing I wanted. I also got a couple Iron Pony gift cards last weekend!
Did anybody get a bike? If so, how did it fit under the tree?

Geek? sometime last Summer I realized at work that I had 4 or 5 computers running on 3 monitors, with a pile of over 20 broken computers waiting for repair. All around my desk. I have got to lighten up. Give that stuff to somebody else to fix. Most all were fixed, and now there's a half dozen new ones to fix up. Not counting a dozen or two new ones already done and gone. And those are just the ones with serious hardware problems. The software and dead hard drive stuff gets gone the same day it arrives. It never ends...
You don't even want to know what I got at home. There isn't enough AC power to run them all... not with TV and stuff on the same circuit. Gotta move it all to another room, argh...
That makes me feel MUCH less geeky!

first street bike i was ever on was an 86 750 with kerker pipes. I was 12.
That's prolly the same pipes my cuz has! I know they're Kerker with dual mufflers. Sounds badass!

the sound those produce is like none other! I love them!
That's one of the things I like most about them! My 500 doesn't sound all that unique with the stock, quiet exhaust on it. I'm patiently awaiting the day when I find a decently priced aftermarket system for sale! I have a cousin that has a 700, or a (few years newer) 750 with an aftermarket system on it. I remember hearing when I was about 12, marvelling at the sound! He has the bike still/again. I need to get in touch with him and check it out sometime, now that I have a little 'ceptor!

I'm not trying to start an argument here, just stating my observations. If you want to discuss this further, start a thread and I will do some research to support my point. Let's leave it out of the OP's thread.

current dating is common era dating. BCE, and CE
Interesting, I find more refernces to Before Christ and Anno Domini than I do BCE and CE.

One single day off.

or how bout a legit windows 7 home premium? I can send you the install dvd with a 100% legit key for $50.
oem?

There you go Jporter. You can have two
You just KNEW I would see this!
That seems a TAD high, but would have to see it in person to judge that. I would like to have a newer VFR though, like the anniversary edition, in RWB. I would keep the 500, especially if Ihad a newer one in the same colors!

Oh, I don't say wither, I stare blankly....

For those that DON'T believe in Christmas, quit writing the date! I never realized it before recently told so, but think about the date. There is a split in time as we know it based on the birth of Christ. Everything before is B.C., or before Christ.
Also, if you don't believe in CHRISTmas, get your ass out to work. Don't take a day off for some that you DON'T believe in.

You will probably have to have a set of install disks from Toshiba for installing the op sys, to match the Toshiba product key. Call Toshiba support, as many times as necessary, till they send you a set of disks to do that. Normally a small charge for "shipping". Good luck.
I'll prolly just get a new copy of 7 to put on it once the software we use at work is ok for 7. Actually, I should check, it ,might work now!

If it still boots into Windoze and you just need your product key, try Magic Jelly Bean Key Finder, finds yer Windoze, Office, most M$ crap that requires a key.
Tested, used often, it works.
OR, go to Best Buy, Wally World, Micro Renter, anywhere new machines are sold, use camera on your cell to snap pix of the stickers on brand new machines...
Oooo.. Nice idea on the pic snapping!
I'll try out one of the key finders, see what I get!

Top 13 Free Product Key Finder Programs
btw, there are two product key stickers, one on the computer, and one on the documentation/disks. Sometimes...
Yeah, exactly... SOMETIMES.... I'll have to look in the docs, there were no disks that came with it, Toshiba is stingy with that stuff anymore.

Pancakes... nom, nom, nom....
Are you gonna uncover your snowy steed and trek it up there?

Your hands won't feel clammy. Get the liners at IP. They all advertise them as real hand heaters but, by themselves, they don't do anything. You get the surgicals over them and they're totally wind-proof and keep heat in. Got nuthin' to lose for $10.
Thanks! I might have to try that out! Looks like a potential trip to the IP Sat!

I keep tellin' guys, try silk liners under surgical gloves. Your hands will be warm as hell and your gloves won't be soaked when you get home. Add a heat pack on the back of your hand and you're good all day.
Got the latex gloves taken care of, we wear them at work to keep from having the typical "mechanic's hands" but not sure where to get the silk liners. My problem with the latex gloves by themselves is when your hands sweat, the cold is WORSE than no gloves!

haha yep
I thought I was bad with my dual 22' LCD's on the desk, but now I actually only use one, and that's not even used much! As I mentioned in an earlier post, I use the laptop for most stuff!
I can't resist.....
