You install the OS on the SSD. Boot into windows and use windows to create the mirror of the two remaining drives. Yea, if you have a hard drive controller that supports raid you can do it in the bios. But for what you are doing I don't see any reason to go that route. The Windows way is easier and will serve your purpose. And yea, when you do this your two HDD's will be erased. What version of Windows are we working with here?

But keep in mind that setup only protects you from a HD failure. Doesn't help you if you accidentally delete something or get a virus/ransomware that eats all your stuff.

Solo, heck yea. When I am solo my trunk is often empty, which is awesome for removing layers or locking up the helmet. Don't have to dick around as much. My problem would be when the wife and go for a week or more somewhere.

I stand corrected, Givi does make a 55L top bag, that is a little bigger than mine but I don't think either of you have that one. That sucker would look weird on your bikes.

Oversized rubber dishwashing gloves over your gloves really helps. Industrial glove supply places have other than green and yellow rubber or whatever you can get. FirstGear used to make some really nice ones that were huge and didn't look totally gay.

Don't see that happening, a fair number of folks (aka sissies) trailer to the event. Plus we sometimes have a cookout in the parking lot....too many moving parts to make work on multiple locations.

I carry three pairs of gloves in my bike. Lightweight, medium weight also waterpoof, and heated also waterproof. You guys need more storage space.

If you use the mobile version of OR on your phone it is better than Tapatalk and just as easy to use and read you blithering f'ing idot.
