  1. Educate yourself on the way various systems in the home work. Don't rely entirely on the home inspector. Look at the way things are laid out and work and ask yourself if it is the way you would do it if you were building the home. It's unbelievable how annoying little things can be when you take them for granted and don't consider the ramifications on how they are done. Examples: out side water spigot placement, back and side yard access with vehicles for landscaping, trailers etc. down spout locations are important to look at too. You could be inviting all kinds of foundation issues if the down spouts drain too close to the home. Drain condition is another to consider especially if its on a slab, poor water pressure or slow drains here can get extremely expensive because in most cases you gotta bust up concrete to make repairs.
  2. Defined autoworks is good too.

  8. With the stock computer it makes perfect sense to preserve as much of the stock intake and exhaust or it would lose power. I want one

  11. Long story short I had my car repainted about a year or so ago with base clear by a friend of my fathers. I was happy with the paint job but noticed some dirt spots in the car that continued to bother me. I discussed the issue with the pdr/ refinishing guy in the body shop for the dealer I work for. He assured me that most of the dirt could be wet sanded out which it was and looked much better. After the car sat in storage all winter; I recently started driving it again with out waxing it just a basic hand wash. I started noticing what at first I thought were dry spots in the clear coat but after getting a couple other opinions I was told they are actually sanding scratches in the clear from a DA. I didn't notice these at first because the car is white and it is rather difficult to see. I am very disappointed in the lack of gloss in these spots but don't know what I can do to correct it. I have been told it can be buffed out with fine grit finishing compound but I feel I might do more harm than good. I don't want to have the guy who originally did the buffing to touch my car again because I'm extremely disappointed in the job he did. Anyone have advice or recommendations for someone that could correct this for me? I've seen several good reviews of Andy's mobile detailing and Esoteric (Spelling?) but I'd like to review any options available to me. Thanks!

  14. My friend who works at Kelly BMW mentioned once that if they have a cupped tire on a car; depending on tread that they sometimes do that because of the expense of a new tire. I'm not sure if that was something they did in house or sublet but it'd be worth calling to ask.
  15. No but I will get some. Kinda thought they'd have been snatched up pretty quick honestly
  16. Set of four good condition bridgestone duelers. 5/32 tread left. Excellent wear pattern in great shape.
