  1. the internal ignitors overheat and fuck up and dont work. Microtech knows about it, and they cant fix it. The internal map sensor also never worked right. it would randomly display anywhere from -30psi to 30psi with the engine just attempting to idle. The person I bought it from had issues with an RPM glitch, sent it in to get fixed, sold it to me, it was still fucked, so I sent it in, never worked, traded it back to my friend who sent it in again and it still never worked. At the time he worked for a shop with very close ties to microtech and they told him that their internal ignitors just dont work right when they get to hot, which was all the time.

  5. no, he really doesn't. microtech REALLY sucks, I've dealt with it myself and seen plenty of other people deal with it. When something needs be sent to fucking australia and back 4 times for a problem that they know can't be fixed, the product sucks.

  8. I've BEEN that person before (sadly), and I saw others make that mistake around me. It's a shame that my own personal speeding (MY OWN stupid choice) could be viewed as a "race" and that if I would have wrecked through my own error someone just driving next to me could go to jail. I was given a ticket for speeding that day (which I deserved) and luckily not for drag racing (which I did NOT deserve, but almost got anyway). Since then I have not done shit on the streets, its just not worth it.

I think their goal is to just convince paranoid soccer moms that their bank is somehow safe. although the only people its stopping are ones who paid a decent amount of money along with a good amount of time and effort just to obey the law correctly...

    in my (limited) experience, doing the swap with an auto is way cheaper because they are much more abundant and there's less demand. The T-56's aren't super easy to come by and a ton of people want them for all kinds of cars.

Turbo: its an ITS brand T4 Turbo (a rebadged Garrett). I Don't know a lot about this turbo because I bought it used from a friend who I know put less than 2000 miles on it. Its roughly the size of a T04e. I will ask my friend for more details when I get the chance. It spools really nicely and hits full boost by 3500 RPM! Here is a dyno chart from when it made 360 wheel at 15psi on a dynapack. It later dyno'd at 372rwhp @ 13psi on a dynojet, but I don't have a digital version of that chart.   19. I know it's stupid, but I figured someone on here probably knows him and can relay my message of "You're a huge douche". It's also nice to know there's a general consensus that he's a douche, so maybe in the futur when someone sees him they will cut him off or kick his dog or something.
  20. So I was minding my own business on Friday driving on 670 in the slow lane with cruise control set at 68mph. I noticed a silver GTO with license plate "K HUTCH" fly up on someone in the far left lane who was probably going slower than they should have been in the fast lane. Instead of being patient and slowing down for the slower car while it passed someone, or finding a nice way around this guy, "K HUTCH" decided to fly across all three lanes and BARELY squeeze in front of me and behind the Mercedes to my left. No turn signal, no warning, no nothing. Had I even seen it coming at all I would have tapped the brakes ahead of time to create a big enough gap just to let him pass, but I didn't have a chance because it happened too fast and I honestly wasn't expecting it. So instead I ended up slamming on the brakes and he still barely squeezed ahead of me. I hit the brakes hard enough to lock up my seatbelt (I found this uncomfortable and mildly annoying) and hard enough to send my dog who was in the backseat flying into the back of my seat while letting out a painful yelp (that REALLY pissed me off). I of course laid on the horn for a few seconds, but "K HUTCH" being the bad ass that he is floored it up to 80 or 90 and was gone. There's a few reasons I drive in the slow lane with cruise on at 68mph. One is to save gas, the other is to avoid complete idiots like "K HUTCH" especially when I'm driving with my dog in the car. Fellow dog owners probably understand. So, if any of you know "K HUTCH," please tell him what a giant douche he is and advise him to exercise patience on the freeway instead of driving like a retarded jackass. and "K HUTCH", if you're reading, I understand its annoying to come up on slow people in the fast lane, but don't be a huge douche about it by taking you're aggression out on me in the form of extreme ass-hole driving.
