  1. That thing is a hillbilly hackjob. notice how far away the engine bay shot is? I bet its janky as fuck. anyone dumb enough to cut those awful holes in the bumper (not even straight or symmetrical!) has no business working on cars, and buying anything that they've had their hands on would be huge a mistake.
  2. i agree with this completely. Coupe, RWD, inline 6 turbo, what more could you ask for?
  3. Wow i can't believe you guys who jack off to LS1's on a daily basis all hate this car! I just thought it was cool since they aren't even available yet.
  4. well then you're not a real american.
  5. I was at the gym here in rochester hills, MI and when I came out there was a new camaro parked like 5 cars away from me! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v12/thelittlesthobo/downsized_0312091905.jpg That shit looked nice in person! The interior looked really nice, too. some sort of two tone tan and black thing going on. It was an RS (does that mean V6? I dont know...) and an automatic. It was cool. Too bad its like 3800 pounds .
  6. It's impossible to accomplish anything inside autozone (or advance for that matter) for less than 15 minutes. impossible.
  7. what school? I am a kettering FIJI in flint, MI
  8. my understanding was that only oils that came stock in cars or were recommended by the manufacturer had to meet it. p.s. is that FIJI as in PGD?
  9. Those other oils are extremely dangerous to your catalytic converter. ZDDP (phosphorous) beats the shit out of catalysts. If you aren't running a cat and its some race car, well then who cares. But if you are (some sort of daily driver) you're going to be poisoning it and it will eventually fail, and much quicker than usual. Maybe you don't care about your cat or the environment, but on a new car a bad cat means all sorts of shit's going to run wrong until you either do get sort of cat delete calibration (beyond something that just makes the light go away) or get a new converter, which is expensive. Pretty much your entire engine calibration is tied into emissions and the way your catalytic converter performs. When your cat dies your O2 sensors start reading all sorts of weird shit and your ecu starts doing all sorts of dumb shit which usually hurts your mileage quite a bit. So, i guess my point is before some of you decide you want mad ZDDP in your perfectly daily driver (scion xb), realize it might not be worth the extra protection for your particular situation, and there is a potentially expensive downside. those of you with race cars, standalones, and free flowing exhausts, burn as much of that shit as you please! /rant

    drift kg???

    the R would be backwards......
  11. cheese sandwich > nothing i dont get what the big deal is?
  12. I understand that, I'm saying to create the piece so precisely in the first place with basically a plastic shooting gun is incredible.
  13. Scion says you aren't supposed to with it, but the Camry with the same engine is rated for 1000 pounds. What I'm gonna be towing is less than 1000 for sure. I've flat towed two different ~2800 pounds cars with it before and it did just fine. I sure as hell couldn't pull any full size car on trailer though.
  14. damnit! i was going to write the same thing, and no one else had written it, except that LAST DAMN PERSON! anyway. I sold mine too! I also installed a trailer hitch on the xb and did some trailer wiring. Tomorrow I'll be bringing home my new toy!
  15. that is amazing. The fact that it can print those moving assemblies as one piece is freaking incredible. I don't know how they just melt plastic that precisely, its insane!
  16. That's not necessarily true, it varies state to state. some states neither party has to know, some states its one, some states its both. I have no idea what it is in ohio.

  18. I agree. Its bigger, faster, better looking, more comfortable, more practical, better handling and you can actually fucking see out of it!:bangbang: That being said, I say you sell off some more of your fleet and get a G8. They have to be giving those things away!
  19. I don't see why you would sell an RX-8 and buy an S2000. the RX-8 is identical in nearly every respect (handling, power, power curve, etc.), yet its more practical. You're going to get rid of a fun to drive, relatively slow, high revving amazing handling car to get another fun to drive, relatively slow, high revving, amazing handling car, except this time you have two less seats, less trunk, and no roof. maybe someone can point out some more differences between the two but to me they've always been damn near identical.
  20. 80's interiors FTL. you dont want to deal with door dings and salt and shit anyway.
  21. +34872389642398462 "The high-performance variant will almost certainly feature standard all-wheel-drive from the Lincoln MKS, from which the Taurus receives its basic structure."
  22. Damn I hope that doesn't happen to my new red 06 vette. I could never afford to replace it because I'd never get a deal like the one I got on mine again! I just hope the previous owner sends my title in the mail soon so I can register it....
