I'm surprised the C5z is quicker around the track but i don't doubt it. Do these not-so-good brakes on the C6 include the Z51 as well? I would think that overall as much as i like the C5, any C6 is probably in better condition overall and less likely to have any issues. not mention its a C6!

i agree with the selling it. dont waste your time making it what it's not. if its nice condition its worth a good amount still, get rid of it and get something you want.

C6 Z51 for sure. It's a C6! I understand its probably a lot more expensive, but if you're able and willing to spend that much go for it.

A guy at autozone once asked me if my rx-7 had a rotary (understandable question). i said yes, then he told me he knew A LOT about those engines (except apparently what car they came in). he told me i could run it on anything: methanol, ethanol, propane, butane, ANYTHING. just put it in the tank. I'm still wondering how I'm supposed to just put propane in my tank....

I looked into this once. the daily fee was cheap but the mileage fee was outrageous, something like 50 cents a mile. Everywhere I looked: home depot, enterprise, & uhaul it would have cost me over 500 dollars plus gas, I could buy an old truck for that!

I wish I would've known these tricks! I was doing the swap with a friend who spent literally months researching how to do a header swap, and it still took us forever. Maybe we just suck. Honestly if it wasn't for my small girlish hands that car probably still wouldn't be running. It was just miserable. good luck!

are you serious!!!!!!!!!???? the F-body is the worst car I've ever worked on. I never understood how such a fucking mammoth car could be so cramped under the hood. A simple plug job + header and exhaust swap took three full days, reaching the damn header bolts in the back was a huge pain in the ass. Not to mention installing those plug wires in the back. I'm not overly familiar with corvette engine bays, but it seriously couldn't be much worse.

from what I read they didn't even need to show their torsos. All three shots were direct hits to the HEAD.

It's a very cool engine, but the X6 has the be the lamest vehicle on the face of the planet.

dude my engine lift is a huge slut, I know how you feel. sometimes it's worth lending it out though just because it takes up so much damn room.

I think the new xB is a damn good car for the price (not biased or anything). Tons of safety features, IIHS top safety pick, good mileage, decent power, and plenty of room of room for shit. You might be able to find an 08 used for cheap, but they're only ~16 new.

All the one's I've seen have been M-plates. I followed a black one back to michigan. (we happened to be going the same way)
