  1. I’ve got some alt coins. Substratum, Icon, and a few others. Substratum is a local company with offices in Delaware. I think it has some serious potential but time will tell.
  2. That would be awesome. The liter bikes have stymied a lot a good riders for a season though.
  3. Pole time was right around 2:00 with the chicane. So about 4 seconds faster if you take out the chicane like at track days.
  4. I think it depends on the insurance company. I know of multiple guys who have been covered by insurance after crashing at MidO. It’s been a few years and maybe things could have changed with them.
  5. The ABS is linked. I don't back it in and for that matter I haven't been on track with anyone actually backing it in. Maybe Knapp or some others but I didn't witness it firsthand. Those guys are at a different level than the average club racer though. I think the tuck situation depends on what is causing the tire to lose traction. if it's purely too much cornering force then no it won't help. If it's because you apply too much brake while cornering then I think it would, you can lock the front at full lean while it's almost impossible while upright. I fully believe the comment above about new technology, humans just cannot do things better or faster than a computer.
  6. Haven't ridden on the street in 7 years but my 15 R1 has close to 6000 miles on it. It still has ABS on it and I can see no reason why I would need to remove it to get faster.
  7. Most guys I know that removed it didn't even try it out. There are plenty of guys faster than me but having ABS on the bike isn't holding me back.
  8. I still have abs on mine and haven't run into any issues on track yet. Also the unified braking helps keep the back settled under hard braking since I never touch the back brake. It has also helped my confidence in trailing know the front isn't going to lock.
  9. Thanks, wish I had a better showing but I wasn't physically ready for that track at race pace. I only had about four laps in me before I started to get tired. My arms were so tired I couldn't get WOT at times. Lol I will probably be there on Tuesday. Family stuff prevents me from going Monday. Are you coming out?
  10. Billy Ethridge won, I think that's Brad Burns.
  11. Anytime Dan. Hopefully next time we get some open track and can get into a rhythm. Low 38's in traffic is fast though. Sometime we need to compare data and see where the low hanging fruit is
  12. Nice, I kept asking if they had got you the sticker and Mark said he had Rob take it to you. You look good out there just stay away from the curbing, it's slick.
  13. Cool that you guys are next to each other. I'll stop down in the morning sometime to meet everyone. I'll be in one of the coaches garages at the other end. Blue and silver R1. Number 827. Stop in if you need anything or just feel like shootin the shit.
  14. Casper, don't set it like this. 1/2 total travel is way too much sag. When I was checking sag I liked it between 30-35mm rider sag. I no longer check sag and adjust by feel now though. I live in powell and can help you out if you can't find anyone closer to you. Let me know.
  15. They could just keep adding cc's to get more power. 1299 isn't enough. LOL
  16. I am but I have zero connections for discounts. Sorry.
  17. Your twitchy throttle is from the etv mapping. Surprised it's twitchy if Freddie flashed it but who knows what map they put in for you. Are you able to flash it yourself? I'd be happy to send you my maps to try. Honestly not sure how any tuner can smooth it out on a dyno. You really need to be riding it and feel it while picking up the throttle mid corner. You can piggyback a pc on top of the flash without issues. I had a ton of popping before I put the pc and autotune on. Now it's very minimal. I have a 15 R1 and mapped mine myself with some help from Mark Junge. Send me a pm if you want to talk. I'll send you my number
  18. Fuel tuning with flashtune is a pain in the ass as you have to reflash the ecu after each change which takes like 10-15 minutes. I still use a power commander for all my fuel mapping. Flashtune is used for everything else. What kind of bike do you have?
  19. I went straight into A. Just had to show them a valid expert license. Had never ridden with them before. Probably more fun to pass a coach though.
  20. Cool. That's the best place to learn and practice.
