  1. I was at every Friday Bike Night last year and I have to tell you, those girls weren't there! Perhaps this year will be better?!? ummm...that bike wasn't there either...
  2. Yea, what he said. UJM's are the ones you cant tell who made them if you take off the tank emblems. Kinda like mine, a classic!
  3. Post a list of what you want to get rid of. My local guy might want some of it.
  4. Fixed! The video happened "In the public eye" (On a highway and is not protected by any law) Just the audio under the states wiretap law. If he would have posted the video without a sound track nobody could do anything about it.
  5. Local folks I know... http://www.mrlawncare.net/
  6. Motorcyclist going 152 mph passes police car going other way on winding two lane road, somehow manages to get caught?!? http://www.komonews.com/news/local/91089859.html
  7. Gear works! Sucks to hear how you know this, but it is better than the alternative.
  8. Very cool you could help out! The bike wasn't bad at all, but if you can't hold on to the bars it gets tough to ride. Failure to control is kinda tough to beat, unless you go into court and say you were trying to kill that tree stump with your bike. Which is what ate the turn signal and plastics. Otherwise it would have just needed washed. We weren't going that fast, maybe 35mph. We were watching for gravel. Moose scrubbed a lot of speed off before he left the road. Then the dirt in the ditch was so soft it scrubbed off even more speed. He was almost stopped when the bike slid into the tree stump which was cut off at ground level. At that point the bike stopped and he popped off and flew about three feet till he landed, on his hand. Ouch!! Getting a ticket proves that the system works. By that I mean even though they took the opportunity to generate some revenue, they also supplied a squad in a pretty reasonable amount of time. We got off easy. Aside from the gravel 313 seemed like a fun road. With hazards such as tractors, trucks, quads, pontoon boats being towed at low speed and a zillion fishermen. Perhaps later in the year after a couple of good rains it will be better. I've never done so many miles on the super slab. The old KZ just kept on going and going. Maybe I should paint it pink and add rabbit ears to it.
  9. What is Mooses's #?

    Just in case

Oh, and I'm ready to leave to meet up.

  10. Google maps shows some kind of gas station south on 256 near refugee rd. A little more than "just south of 70" So Dave you will get a call when I get in that area. Speedway where? Going for coffee and a shower now. I'll call you when I get on that side of town...
  11. Yawn... hmm.. coffee. Ok, so I'll have to go 270 - 71 -70 - 256 to get to where you guys are going to meet. Ok, if lost or late I'll call Dave on his cell as I have that number. check oil, tires, morning checklist... COFFEE!!!
  12. 9:30 on the other side of town from us?

How about 10:00 at the IP?

    Ok, never mind.

I'll roll out early and wait for the update by phone or bbs.

  13. When they get "safe" enough they won't be fun anymore.
  14. Not too early, but Sunday sounds like a nice ride.

Gimme a buzz, you have the number.

  15. There are two basic sizes for motorcycle headlights 5-3/4 inch and 7 inch lenses.

Yours I believe is a 7" bulb. Motorcycle light lenses (the part you see that collects bugs) mount differently than car headlights, they are not interchangeable. Also the lens pattern can be different than stock for a different light pattern on the road. I included both sizes in my search on ebay just in case I was wrong about the size of yours.

As far as wattage of the actual bulbs 55/60 watts is standard. Replacement bulbs are standard and can be bought at any auto parts store for about $7.00. The standard size uses the same amount of electricity so you don't have to do any re-wiring of the bike and the stock plug fits right on it so it's a very simple modification.

    Good luck!

  16. Meet up where? Meet up when? Looks like a nice day for a ride doesn't it?
  17. We done good even with the weather being a little crappy. 20 some bikes, not bad for a first turn out, not bad at all.
  18. I'll be there if I can, work schedule might make me late. We will see.
