  1. Yea, they left a lot of other stuff. It was a very quick grab. They knew what they wanted and what they needed to do to get it. The ramps were in the shed as well. They cut the lock off the shed door, then cut the other lock. This is in an Apt complex so if it was neighbors they couldn't use it themselves. Friends of neighbors is more likely. They left a lot of other tools. Ladders, hand tools etc. Yep, they had a shopping list. I still can't get over waiting until spring is almost here to grab it?
  2. Broke into the tool shed then cut the lock on the cable which had it locked to the wall.
  3. Stolen 2/27/10 Snowblower and a set of ramps. Here is a couple of pics from the product brochures. They used big bolt cutters and were very quick about it. I'm looking on Craigslist for the brain trusts that stole these at the _end_ of winter. Y'know _after_ the last big snow of the season.
  4. Casper forgot the option; Endlessly lurking on the OR BBS
  5. I think both points are valid. Statistically and ironically.
  6. We must tolerate that which is intolerable so that it is tolerable! We will no longer have to tolerate the intolerable anymore because we can tolerate it. When we can tolerate it we can ignore it because we can tolerate anything. When we ignore that which we cannot tolerate it is a form of tolerance. We can win over intolerance by tolerating it! Lets have another study to prove the last one was tolerant enough. Then we can ignore it proving our tolerance.
  7. Your title is much better than my title!
  8. As I understand it, no plates no ride. Get a temp plate or just get the new plates. Using other plates could be trouble if you get stopped. Better to use their old plates and forget to mention that the title has been changed.
  9. A study, based on a study, which was based on another study. Which then correlated that into another study. Sounds like rock solid science to me.

  11. If you like the older bikes, which you seem too. There is always 'The Rice Paddy'. Keep in mind that everything they seem to have for sale is a rare one of a kind classic and priced to match. Meh. I say Craigslist first. I've seen a few good looking deals in your area. Then the local places in C-bus. Sounds like good advice. Hinds is out of business but still listed in the phone book etc. Good luck with your search!
  12. I bought a cable type lock at IP for about $3. Works just fine.
  13. Good call! It needs more than one answer to be accurate.
  14. What part of town work is in makes a BIG difference to where you live. The phrase "You can't get there from here" was invented in Pgh. Sometimes it's just easier to go somewhere else and then go to where you want to go.
  15. Um, Sounds like a way to get you to buy another two tires. So they all match you understand. $$$$$
  16. If you need a resistor for your particular bike get it at Radio Shack. 5 to 8 ohms at 20 watts ought to do it. The price should be about $2 -$3. If you buy an LED impedance matching device you can spend up to $35.00 for a 5 to 8 ohm resistor at 20 watts. Here is an article on it. http://www.plasmaled.com/tail_light_led_bulb_fix.htm If you want to use a converter, which looks nice to add running lights to your turn signals. You might find that a converter like these: http://www.customdynamics.com/loadequalizer.htm#Metric_Signal_Stabilizer Looks remarkably like a trailer light adapter available at NAPA for about $10.00. Hmmmm........
