  1. Today was a great day of riding. For all of you that were not able to make it you missed out. The section of 93 going south from 56 until we were past Jackson was pretty busy with traffic which started to discourage me but once we hit the Nation Forest down toward Ironton it got real good. No traffic and nice twisties. Unfortunately they had a little rain before we got there so the roads were a little damp which slowed us down slightly but not much. Thanks Phil for the great lunch suggestion, Toro Loco was a very good and fast Mexican restaurant. For feeding 12 of us they did great. The route we took back north was another great ride with more sweet twisties and very little traffic. Looking forward to next months ride. We will be heading down to SE Ohio to hit some of those awesome roads we did last year. I will post up the route soon. Thanks to all the riders that showed up today, you all did a great job!
  2. You did an awesome job on those videos Brian.
  3. How many riders are you expecting to see for this event. I am considering it but I may end up at Briarcliff for the KTM day.
  4. You are welcome to borrow mine. I have a 6x12 enclosed with removable wheel chocks. There are some eye bolts in the floor that are not recessed but only a few.
  5. Posting this for a good friend. http://www.christiansportbike.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=497077 As you can see, this is a beautiful bike ready to race.
  6. I am looking forward to riding with you again. Congrats on the landing of the job. Did you end up staying in the area as well or did you move back north?
  7. I just returned from seeing Dave. His spirits are up as usual and looks at this as a bump in the road. His wife Carla is more concerned than Dave is. The mass covers across his forehead from one side to the other. The biopsy is not expected to be back until the end of the week to know exactly what it is and they are planning on sending him home tomorrow some time. He will then meet with specialists to determine the best action to take. Thanks for all of your prayers, we may see him in his office Saturday morning before the ride if it is up to him.
  8. Many of you that have ridden with the CSBA group over last couple years will remember Pastor Dave Brown who rode with us a few times on my Aprilia. He is also the Pastor of the Calvary Chapel church that we meet at before every ride. This is a message posted from his Brother Bob Brown who was the main instructor at the Knee Down Clinic last month: My brother Dave who many of you know is in the hospital, they suspect two brain tumors in the frontal lobes, he had been dizzy the last few weeks and fallen a couple of times the last few days. I still do not have a lot of information but will pass it on when I get it...Bob This is where he is located: University Hospital James Cancer Hospital Room 1058 300 W. 10th Ave Columbus, OH 43210 I will be heading down there this afternoon to see how he is doing and will post up info as I get it. Please keep Dave and his family in your prayers.
  9. Since he planned the route he better show up.
  10. Great write up Joe. Thanks for sharing with us.
  11. Thanks for the good words Harb67. Coming from someone that broke their back on one of the rides means a lot.

    Baby Ben

Congrats Ben and Carrie. You are about to experience a joy that can only be experienced when you have a child. I have only had girls so no words of wisdom from me in that regard. I am sure you both will be wonderful parents.
  13. You are surely missed and I look forward to the day you can return to the rides.
  14. Sounds good XFZ, looking forward to the ride. Your DVD went out today.
  15. We will be stopping for fuel on the route. We try to stop around every 100 miles. Some bikes have a hard time making that distance. We will be eating lunch in Ironton at Toro Loco so bring your sombraro.
  16. I may be down for this. I have not even started my dirt bike this year yet, been too busy with riding on the road along with other things. What is the cost for this event?

Sounds like fun but since I just got back from the Iron Butt this morning I am not ready to get back on the bike already. I hope you guys have a great time and be safe.
