  1. Oh...and gonna have to do something about those white plates you're sporting if you plan on running novice.
  2. Lol. So Cox, what was it you were trying to sell again?
  3. I don't know, Kevin might be fighting you for that one... You ride Putnam quite a bit don't you? You should do fine. Most of us have only been there once or twice.
  4. I don't care what approach you take, as long as you're out there helping me bring up the rear of the expert grid.
  5. Wait, then who's belt is in my trailer? It smells of rich mahogany and many leatherbound books, so clearly it's your musk on it?
  6. I'm planning to make every MotoSeries round so I should be there.
  7. I keep it in the trailer. It comes in handy to hold up your leathers or when you need an extra strap to hold a gas can from sliding around.
  8. I heard they were gonna archive all the races to view in their entirety, I don't know how soon that's gonna happen though.
  9. There was some great racing in the first half of that race. And as a Triumph fan glad to see the 675 get a win, and doing well overall. 4 bikes in the top 10, maybe 5 if Disalvo didn't go down. And possibly 2 on the podium? I liked the live stream too, HD would have been nice. Wound up watching it on the computer monitor which wasn't terrible, a 22" monitor parked right in front of the couch did the trick. Thinking one of those Google Chromecast things would've worked nice for this to watch it on the big TV.
  10. How did Joe Hansen get so many pics of Joe Hansen? Lol
  11. Make sure you tell the wifey thanks for taking all these pics! It's cool that she got some pics from in the pits and not just all riding shots. I especially like the ones of my ginger ass hiding under the umbrella trying not to get burnt. And yes Ryan has most excellent body position.
  12. Pretty much. I wasn't pissed but was more or less saying Hi / Bye to Jester. You couldn't see him in the video but he was right behind me when I did it. In hindsight it probably wasn't the best idea. Ryan probably thought I was going to pit in too. Next time I'll just give the "princess wave"
  13. Well I'm still excited about being able to watch it, even if it is a cluster fuck. Thanks for the link Hellmutt.
  14. Keep running them, no problem. In my first year of doing trackdays I got about 10 sessions out of a brand new Michelin power pure, a similar tire to what you have. Like you said, it's a street tire and not a race tire so run it till its at or even past the wear bars.
  15. Lol nice pic. The bike looked surprisingly good for doing a complete barrel roll.
  16. Wow, that pic shows I need to work on my body position again. I'm hoping that was from earlier on Sunday when I was still brushing the cobwebs off. Both days were a blast. The mock races were a cluster fuck. No red flags all day, then all 3 mock races ended quickly in a red flag. My favorite session of the 2 days was the last one. I had some overheating issues and missed a session, talked Hollywood into going back out for the last one with me to make sure I had it fixed. We did 2 warm up laps to warm his tires and make sure my bike wasn't overheating, then our own race was on. It was a perfect session, cause pretty much everyone had packed it up early, there was only 1 other bike on the track. I followed Matt out of the pits after a quick stop to check my bike and we were off to the races. I chased him down for 4 laps or so before I finally made a move and got by on the outside into 10. I think I held him off for a lap or 2 but heard him on my ass the whole time. Then he came by me into turn 1 with a little bit of a late brake, but it pushed him a little wide and I snuck up the inside and got back in front. I just barely closed the door before he could get by into 2. I think we made 1 more lap before the checkered flag came out, and I could claim the unofficial OR king of intermediate, last session of the day, only bikes on the track crown! That's my write up about the weekend. Good to see everyone again, glad to meet John (osuyzfr1) and hope to see him at mid-o or maybe even a moto series race? Glad everyone was safe and came home in 1 piece. Can't wait to do it again next year!
  17. Made it as far as Lexington, KY. Stopped for the night. 9.5 hours to go...
  18. Have to get all my crap packed and ready to go by tomorrow since I'll be out of town the rest of the week. This week is probably going to fly by and I'll be on my way to Jennings in no time!
  19. Hmm, hopefully I can get back from LA in time to put wheels back on the bike. Otherwise they'll be out in the freezing garage for 3-4 days.
  20. Lol, that is a win in my book. No fail there.
  21. Haven't you been keeping up on your end of the world movies? Clearly global warming will cause the polar ice caps to melt causing a shift in the ocean currents that will cause most of the northern hemisphere to be a frozen tundra. This must be what is happening now.
