  1. I'm hoping to head out Friday. By hoping I mean I'm stuck in Birmingham trying to get a damn robot running. I was supposed to leave Tuesday morning but I'm still here. If all goes well in the morning I'll be flying back tomorrow evening. If I'm there I'll have a cooler full of beer and ice, I'm gonna need it.
  2. Craig, no need to defend your beloved zx6. We kid, we kid. Sort of.
  3. Details? New, used, date codes, price? I pretty much roasted my rains over the last 2 Nelson rounds.
  4. I just take my oil filter off and the oil goes in the pan like it's supposed to. No extra tools, funnels, duct tape, shop vacs, aluminum foil, or other random kitchenware needed.
  5. No problem, they're not taking up any extra space, the stack of tires in my garage is just a little taller. I'll have them at pirc for ya.
  6. Yes $1.60 for the tire plus $158.40 for delivery. I'm sure I could get it there for whoever wants it. I also have a bunch of dunlop takeoffs in my garage that I'm auctioning off to the highest bidder.
  7. But you just use this paper funnel thingy and 5 lbs of kitty litter. It's really not that bad.
  8. It did sound a bit like a triple on start up.
  9. It's not work, it's called pit bitch. It's sort of like umbrella girl, except you don't have to be attractive. Most of the good pit bitches have been claimed by the fast riders, but you might be lucky enough to find a novice racer who will let you put the bike on stands, put warmers on and pull them, and things like that. It's not expected, but pit bitches often make us lunches like sammiches, and more experienced pit bitches will provide hot lunches like grilling hamburgers or hot dogs.
  10. Probably nothing you can do Sunday. There's a short practice in the mornings before the races, but I'm pretty sure they'd require you to be a licensed racer who is signed up for a race to go out on track.
  11. Can't you just leave the baby at home with the wifey and come out to oonnnnneeee little race weekend? Pllllleaaaassseeee.
  12. If you aren't a ginger, you can't look directly at ginger on ginger action or you will spontaneously combust.
  13. Enough B.S. in the thread from the last round, time for a clean slate. Last round of Moto Series racing, who's coming?! I'll be there running the trackday Saturday, plus the 750GT, 600 SBK sprints, and Mini 20 on Sunday. Points are close in the 600 sprints, so we should actually have a good battle going for the top 3 spots in the championships. I'm in 3rd right now, and I might be able to take the championship if the 2nd place guy would get out of my way. He's just a speed bump on my way to the top! Oh and there will be a clam bake/crab legs/steaks on Saturday as well. Look over on the Moto Series forum if you want to order food ahead of time. Deadline is Sept. 7th!!
  14. +1 for the Bell RS-1. Before I bought mine (on closeout for like $160) I tried on the RS-1 and the Star at a dealership and they both seemed to fit me the same. But like you said, they can change after you've been wearing it for awhile.
  15. I was just going to say I think the problem is most likely that Int. sold out, so riders that are normally in Int. group signed up for Novice. And I don't care what org is running it, if you have people running 1:08 or 1:10 in Novice group, that is too fast for that group, so much difference in speed! Most Intermediate people can't run that time at PIRC. You'll have a lot of Novice guys running :20's and even some :30's. Hell a lot of the SV guys that run in Advance are only turning 1:06-1:07 during trackdays. And before anyone mentions it, I know it's not all about lap times but also skill and knowing how to pass and be passed. Those kind of times are just too fast for Novice group though.
  16. I'm heading to Nelsons tonight, anyone else gonna be there?
  17. This was the place that stitched a seam for me. You could try giving them a call and see if they could do what you need done. Charles Shoe Repair 5823 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland, OH 44124 440-684-0743
  18. I think you need to get out of the house a bit lol.
  19. http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/103833-leather-suit-repair-shop/?hl=%2Bleather+%2Brepair I take it back Lizzy is in VA.
  20. I've looked quite a bit for anyone who might do leather repair/alterations around here. There's not much out there. I found one shoe repair place off of Mayfield Rd. and 271. Older guy there stitched a seam for me and it is holding up well, but I don't know if he can do much more than basic stuff. Best bet is to send out whatever you have over the winter to Barnacle Bill in Kentucky (he has an ad on wera classifieds) or I think there's someone in Michigan like lizzys leather or something that I've heard good things about.
  21. I have a friend that's interested in your bike, he wants to know if you can meet him in Columbus Sunday around noon so he can take a look at it.
