  1. Welcome! A Speed Triple is next on my list of Triumph bikes to own at some point.
  2. So he was able to make those My Little Pony stickers you were after? Nice, that's gonna look good!
  3. Pretty cool vids. I'll be there all weekend and racing Sunday. If you want a bike to throw some go pros on I'm down. I don't have any of my own so, it would be cool if I could somehow get the video from you afterwards?
  4. Haha I'm just messin with ya. Give me some stickers and I'll gladly put them on my bike. I get to pick where they go though. I think I'll put one on the bottom of the lower fairing so it shows when you get a pic while I'm leaned over.
  5. Hey there's a female in it for a little bit. She goes running and screaming at about the 2 minute mark. But you see a little bush first and there's some solid side-boob as she goes running away.
  6. It's no big secret other than Jbots because his is hilarious. And are you putting Photos by Marty stickers on? Does that mean you are sponsoring us too and the paint jobs are free?!?!!!??
  7. This was one old thread worth bumping, kind of funny looking back at the comments. Boy were some people wrong.
  8. What's the best you can do on the VCR? I have an old self-shot porno on VHS and I have nothing to play it anymore.
  9. Cool, do you know of some other guys running the 1000 class? Murse will be happy to hear this, last year it was pretty much just him.......huge gap............and Peters and Agnes out front. With a few other random guys showing up now and then.
  10. I think just me. Not sure why? Talking to Todd about it, it seems like there were 6-7 total that got the bump, and the 2-3 guys who already were experts. It should be a decent grid I think.
  11. It's hard to keep the actual new threads sorted out from all this old garbage anymore...
  12. Neon yellow will be the safest for me. Everyone should see me coming and know they should stay clear!
  13. Don't support him, how am I going to make him feel bad and call him a sand bagger and cherry picker when you make comments like that? But honestly you are right, I wouldn't have moved myself up but Todd told me I was ready and didn't really give me an option, just said he was moving me up. I haven't been racing much longer than Hollywood either. I ran a few Mini 20's at the end of the season in 2011, and last year was the first "full season" I had ran. Either way I am just out there to have fun, but I personally think it will be somewhat embarrasing when I'm supposed to be an "expert" and I know there's Novice riders out there who are faster than myself and will probably be passing me.
  14. There will be plenty of people enjoying some adult beverages. After the riding is over of course. It's allowed especially if you aren't racing Sunday. I'll probably even have a few myself but I hold off on getting smashed when I gotta race the next morning. But by all means stay Saturday night and get as fucked up as you want.
  15. It was my feeble attempt to try and get you to come run expert with me. So that maybe I would have someone to run with. I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing up the rear of the expert grid and probably getting passed by you and other fast novice riders.
  16. Something I learned from my old high school wrestling coach, you don't get better by taking the easy match. You'll only get better by working with those that are better than you, making you push yourself harder all the time. Besides that, you'll still be able to beat slow expert guys like myself. I wanted a shot at some tire money and shit too, don't get me wrong. But Todd asked (told) me to move up so I did. Overall I think it will be better for Moto Series to have a larger expert grid and not everyone chasing a novice championship and easy sponsor money.
  17. Never done anything but camped there. I think there's a few here that will be camping at the track Friday night, possibly including myself. If you are still pretty new to track days and running novice group, I would focus on bringing yourself, a well prepped bike ready for trackdays (including keys and gas), and plenty of water and fluids. You will be busy in the classroom between sessions so you probably won't need chairs/easy up. If you happen to need tools or something, a lot of us carry pretty stocked toolboxes and pretty much anything else you would need with us and are always willing to help out.
  18. If I vote, will I get a sticker that says I did? I laughed that he dug up all those old female intro threads, so I'll give him a "no" vote even though I feel like he's already doomed to a 1 day ban.
  19. I have a slightly different perspective than some of these guys. Nelson was where I first started doing track days so I had no other tracks to compare or base it off of. My first impression when showing up was, "Wow, what is this dump?" But I had paid for my trackday already and was going to get my moneys worth. After the first few sessions (in the rain) in the morning I had learned my way around the track a little, and found all the patchwork to be usefull as reference points for break markers, turn in markers, etc. Most of them aren't that bad and offer plenty of grip. At the end of the day I was buzzing around at decent novice pace on a dry track. I had completely forgotten any of the stories I had heard about the track's condition and was just out riding and having fun! I came back, again, and again, and now I can't think of a better place to spend a weekend, having fun with friends from staff to other riders, enjoying riding and racing. (poorly) So forget all that nonsense you've heard and just give it a shot. Worse case scenario is you hate it and you never come back but I doubt that will be the case. And don't forget to hit up Dave and Tony's Bistro for breakfast and lunch!
  20. I never can keep track, I'm always buying and selling. I just recently cleared out inventory and I'm down to just 2. The 675R and a 2012 Street Triple R. Picked it up "wrecked" at a salvage auction with minor damage to the tank and exhaust. But I buy wrecked ones from the salvage auctions to either part them out/keep parts/fix em if they're in good enough shape. I think I've owned at least 10-12 of them? Just a side job and hobby to keep me busy and help fund racing and riding.
  21. I agree and I own a Street Triple with the same ugly headlights on it. As time/money allows I'll be switching it to either a single or dual round headlights instead of the silly bug-eye looking things on it now.
  22. It looks best in track form, no non-symetrical headlights to worry about.
  23. I agree. And pretty much we are done other than waiting to get fairings back from being painted. Will take some pics and put them up when they're all back together.
  24. Pretty much any of the BMW/KTM/Ducati/Triumph adventure style bikes. I know they're more function vs. form but gawd they're some of the ugliest bikes around.
