Daytona 675, not exactly a great starter bike...

I take full credit for the sparking of interest in Daytonas, since half of the ones on this forum have been owned by me or have parts from my bikes on them.

With enough coffee and bacon I could be pursuaded to leave a little earlier than "when I wake up" because that might not be till noon. I certainly don't expect to be in Columbus by 9 though. We can run sweeper and pick up whoever broke down along the way.

I'm not sure I'd call what you do on the track "going fast" lol.

June 29-30 is a MotoSeries race round at PIRC so that is probably where a lot of us track guys will be that weekend. Barber is on my list of tracks to ride some day though, so maybe another time!

Personally I think its a pain in the ass and unless the pay is awesome I wouldn't do it. The wear and tear on your vehicle will be a lot, and you'll be shocked how quickly miles rack up on it. Gas prices aren't cheap right now either so that's all something you should factor in. If you consider your time, gas, and vehicle maintenance you could probably take a job close to home that pays $3-4 an hour less and come out even.

Thanks, at least I know how to change it if the options are available. I won't complain too much because I know there's a lot of work in progress. I like the mobile version on my phone but the layout on my home and work computer leaves a little to be desired.

Can anyone tell me how to change to one of these skins you're linking? I can't download them, I can't find anywhere in the settings to change anything, and I currently hate the layout that I see. Don't know if it's the same for everyone, but all of the font other than the actual words in a post are so light I can't hardly read them. For example...Post time/date, member info like posts, location, bike(s), anything someone quoted, people's signature, it is all almost illegible to me. I really have to look close to see any of it.

If I get the last couple parts I ordered for the rearsets on the street triple I'm in. That's all that's needed to get her road worthy again. They're supposed to be in on Friday so...

Ah well shit I left right after work to head out of town for the weekend. Best bet...go search over at suzukicentral.com and you'll probably find what you need. All I can remember is at tdc you should have 14.5 links in the cam chain between marks on the cams for timing. I'm sure that helps a ton...

When you're in the military, often you're only choice for a place to shower is a public shower. Especially the navy/marines on a navy ship. They don't exactly have private bathrooms for each sailor. Which is why Kent specified "openly gay in the military."

I think the point was pretty clear. He is attracted to women, and not allowed to shower with them. They don't want to be stared at, oggled, and eye-fucked by him while they shower. Therefor men aren't allowed in their showers. Gay guys are attracted to...other guys. Who probably don't want to be stared at, oggled, and eye-fucked by some gay guy sharing a shower with them. But the gays are still allowed in the showers.

This is true. I know I said thanks to everyone here a hundred times already. But just so you all know again, between this bike raffle and a benefit held by my family we raised just over $30K. He said he would've been in a world of financial hurt and in danger of losing the house he had just bought if we didn't do it.

I would hope so. He didn't seem overly concerned about the hospital visit, just a bruised ego.
