  1. I've already used a Sharpie to mark the inside of my rims and engine cases. Someone should call me or the police when they find the info. Or not.
  2. No test rides. I will run up and down my street on my bike for you. Buy it if you like, or go away.
  3. Should have just broke the window and tazed her dumb ass. Let the car accelerate through the garage, as she twitched (or twerked), and call it in.

    CAN-Bus

HD's are now Can-Bus wired? They are calling it "HD-LAN"? VW's didn't call it "VW-LAN". Audi hasn't badged it "AUDI-BUS". BMW hasn't created a "BMW-LAN" or "BMW-BUS". But, based upon monumental marketing ploys, a 100 year old antiquated manufacturer, based upon long winded tradition and backwardness, makes up a new acronym for something that's been around for 20 plus years. I'm guessing the technological complexity will sell gobs of bikes and confuse a whole mass of riders. So looing forward to seeing them at the bike show.
  5. You would be amazed at the amount of people who do 50+ down 35 mph streets. Speeding on the freeway is acceptable, but speeding in rural areas is not. I'm guessing there will be a bit more people running orange lights.
  6. I'd like to say they had "In Stock" parts and great service, but every part had to be ordered, all items were overpriced, and the service was not always there. And I don't own an old bike. As far as deals ... I've tried multiple times to buy multiple bikes and have been met with zero deals. I've had great luck with dealerships in Canton. They have hit deals "out of the PARK". Sorry to see any dealership go. The only "shining Star" was Brandon. I wish him luck in the future.
  7. Don't you mean Redneck Spare Tire?
  8. If "Pro" is the opposite of "Con" ... what is the opposite of PROGRESS?
  9. Nice pics. Start leaning to the inside of turns.
  10. Count me in. The XR600R's been street legal since 2000.
  11. Ouch. People who don't pay attention are going to kill people. People who are attentive, but ignorant, may accidentally kill someone. Drive or ride down the road and speed (or not) ... and you may kill someone. Ignore a stop sign ... you may kill someone. Blow a red light ... you may kill someone. Pass on the right ... you may kill someone. ... or not. Safety first and hope all survive is all anyone asks. (I'm guilty of all the above ... and lucky to never be involved with injuring anyone)
  12. Welcome! Highland Heights member here who's on the #48 R6 or the Frankenstein TLR. I spend a bit of time in/around Kirtland.
  13. It came to an end quietly? Didn't they just indicate that shots were exchanged?
  14. Poor bambam, just doesn't understand internets. So sad.
  15. They are for sale in a bunch of places. I had neglected to get all the pricing uniform. And I couldn't edit this original topic. PM to TwiztedRabbit
  16. My kids ride with me ... 13 and 15.T They have been riding off and on for 2 years. I go slow and safe. But I don't crawl. I know there's risks, but riding is fun. I'm buying my girls track bikes when they turn 16. They will ride the track with me for a summer and then decide if they want to navigate the street jungle. Riders ed courses and track day schools should have them being skilled and responsible.
  17. Sorry, these rims are near "perfect" ... $350's low.
  18. Thanks for the offer. I'm not able ride Kawasaki's. My Lil' R6 wouldn't like that.
  19. Lowering these to $425. I'd like to get em sold. Not sure why I can't edit original post. Maybe I'm just missing something.
  20. This is a "like new" set of wheels & rotors removed from a low mileage 2008 R6. Cush drive & sprocket not included. They are straight and in excellent condition. They are used and have had tires removed and mounted a few times - No-Mar. I can mount you tires, for free, if you've got em'. $495 for pickup or add $ for shipping to lower 48 states
  21. Don't use the old pads to push the pistons back in right off. There's usually a lot of dirtyness around them. Clean up around the extended pistons, then push em' back in.
