  1. You are absolutely right, BUT let's play "what ifs". What If the BG knew the woman wouldn't be armed because churches are CPZs? What if the BG knew noone else around the woman would be armed? What if the BG DIDN'T just walk up and shoot her? There's a lot of unanswered questions, but I agree, if someone wants you dead, you're probably dead, but you don't have to be a victim.
  2. Todd let me know if you want to try my KHolster (as Mike mentioned). I also have a cheap leather foldover(?) and a Nemesis pocket holster. I'm sure you know the 9SC and the 40SC are the exact same size so it'll fit in my holsters (or Mike's)
  3. Here's the thing, YES you can if "you have permission", the ORC doesn't state who gives the permission or what you need. YES I agree if the pastor/rabbi/leader says "Yes, you may carry if you have your CCW" but would I ask for a letter saying that? YES. We're talking about a felony here, it's too easy for a visiting officiant to change rules because he feels like it (it's happened to me) so I'd be sure I had significant proof. Also, it doesn't say in ORC who gives permission, lots of churches and synagogues are run by a governing body... do you need the board to say yes, or just the senior leader? What if the secretary says sure they have a policy that it's fine... Anyway, I'm in the market for a synagogue, you better believe one of my first questions is "What is the temple's policy on CCWs?" Along with a few other questions my wife and I have.
  4. First of all @Rod, I agree with you, it's very rare to find a cop that will admit fault and/or the fault of another of his brothers. @UP, that video is a scary one to see... that cop should have dropped the guy (with OC spray or baton) the SECOND he started running at him and challenging him like that. I can't believe the cop let it escalate so far.
  5. Didn't you take the test 2 weeks ago? I didn't know much has changed!
  6. what's funny is my driver's ed class taught us a trick for the cones... pull forward until the front cone is at your front pillar. turn the wheel 1 & 1/2 turn to the direction, when the cone passes your door return the wheel and go 1/2 turn the other direction... perfect EVERY time. They had us practicing on the last day, I recall doing this @ around 10-15 mph after 15 minutes of "practicing"... I took the test in my mom's 1st gen Land Rover.
  7. RACIST! jk, yah there's always a store like that near us all
  8. 80 year old... on her way to the car.... after church. Thank goodness you can't bring a gun into religious establishments, it's much safer to leave them in the car. Not to say this woman would always be packing, but just goes to show you, walking to and from the car is where most crimes happen.
  9. Hmmm let me try those on.... LOL I think I can put my arms in there.
  10. hmmmm, the PR person I spoke to said I could come early on Friday... maybe I should do that instead of going on Saturday.
  11. What's sad is, parking isn't part of the test now. Righ around when I turned 15 they changed it to the cones. So now you start in a box of 4 cones with 1 cone in front of you about 1 car length. You have to pull up and parralel then back up... similar to parking but not the same imho
  12. And just as an FYI I took mine at Cuyahoga Falls... but that was over a decade ago
  13. My opinion is it's too easy around the board, but some counties just make it stupid easy to pass.
  14. Yah, I thought that was a pretty stupid comment "we're not sure..." gee go figure
  15. * Hell, that would stop you from winning, it may help you win a senate seat!
  16. Sounds like a plan I have a few locations that work well, plenty of spots around us.... plus it'll give you some time to get some hot lingerie and lose a couple pounds
  17. Ride it down to me and I'll take some pictures for you
  18. Man! I just got a new pair of Mechanix gloves too.... I was considering getting gauntlet gloves but I'll stick with my batting gloves style for now

    Oh shit....

What I don't understand is why the OAG specifically puts "concealed weapon"... I was under the impression you could not OPEN CARRY in a liquor establishment either.

    Oh shit....

I know you said you saw it, but I'm quoting for others. • Licensed D-Liquor Permit premises in which any person is consuming liquor. Concealed frearms are banned in premises for which a D permit has been issued or in an open air arena for which a permit of that nature has been issued. There are some exceptions to this prohibition. The prohibition does not apply to principal holder of D permit as long as principal holder is not consuming liquor.
  23. We must protect the minds of our children. They should not be exposed to this kind of vulgarity until their parents decide they are ready and that their child is capable of handling it. Additionally any child that exposes another child to such atrocities should be charged with the appropriate crime. Whoever showed this kid "oral sex" in the dictionary should be charged with child molestation. </sarcasm>
  24. I really need to organize the pictures.... 74 pages is a lot to filter through lol. But feel free to post the link wherever the hell all those people came from
