I think part of it stems from advertising and college funding. Colleges get money based on their sports as well as academics. The big colleges are the only ones that can really win the BCS, therefore the only colleges that really get a ton of money are the big ones. Additionally, all these venues advertise the NATIONAL CHAMPION but it's not a fair process. Either way, I don't agree with legislature on this petty of a thing, just presenting both sides.
