  1. I'm reading some stuff on pocket holsters now. Other than breaking up the outline of the gun and keeping it from shifting. What reasons? Are those it?
  2. Our CCW instructor suggested trying to do anything while someone timed you, it's tiny compared to someone coming at you, but still. I would love to try some of the exercises he recalled though, guy with a rubber stick coming at you, draw, (chamber), aim and fire before they hit you with the stick.
  3. Why bother? Holster just secures it to you, pocket is as good as a holster Ouch!
  4. I can appreciate that. But it's not so much I'm worried I'm going to shoot myself, I'm worried the gun is going to accidentally discharge. I'm sure the more I carry the more I won't worry about it.
  5. Too much dryfiring will damage the firing pin since it's extending past it's point of impact. But you're right, modern weapons don't need it as much as older weapons. Also, they are useful for practicing clearing jams and such.
  6. And that's how I became the prince of Bel-Aire
  7. I got mine at Gander Mountain, I saw 357 there
  8. roflmao! Hey now, I'd give it away for free if it wasn't so expensive! but point taken, you have a good point
  9. I bought a package yesterday for dryfiring exercises, I don't need 5. $4 bucks if anyone needs one (yes, they really costed me $20 for 5). Thanks!
  10. That's a good point. Unchambered until I have to walk somewhere, then chamber and go. When you get back to the car, drop the mag, eject the round, reload the mag ... lol lots going on but w/e
  11. DAMNIT! I wanted to give him his star! So, the conversation about chambered and unchambered came up with the wife last night. She wouldn't let me pocket carry because I don't have a manual safety on my XD... I explained the auto safeties like trigger, backstrap and internal but she just was scared. I have NEVER planned on carrying chambered, nor do I leave it chambered at home... but I like hearing everyone's opinions and habits.
  12. What's your preference? Mine is UNchambered. I understand the consequences tactically to carrying unchambered but I'm so paranoid about shooting myself I prefer to leave it unchambered. What do you think?
  13. You are absolutely correct. I would prefer she was not wearing a bra. I just wanted to be helpful for the lay-deez
  14. For her I should say. It's not going to be very comfortable or provide very much support! My wife was wearing the wrong size for a long time and once she got the right size she couldn't believe the difference
  15. Good luck guys! Make sure to let us know how it is
  16. I appreciate the cleavage, but seriously, wearing a 32B when you're a 36G is not helpful!
  17. To quote from another thread You can touch blow-up dolls
  18. Tru dat! Although lately all I can find is "meh, they weren't horrible, took 3 weeks but still"
  19. Crazy pictures! Now if only we could ban truck drivers in the USA we'd be set! (waits for the flamewar)
