  1. NOW someone has a gold star :)

  2. I wouldn't be surprised. Not that you were implying anything but... Your insurance carriers knows what bike you have, it's by your VIN, so unless you found a carrier that doesn't require a VIN.... They know what bike model you have, what your CCs are, what year it was made, where it was assembled and everything else about it. The only way around this is to build a custom bike, or swap the engine from another bike. Just saying, even if they don't call it a supersport or super duper fantasmagraphic bike, they know exactly what it is capable of. And for purposes of insurance, most companies have an exclusion if you're on the track.
  3. I'll take The Rapist for $500
  4. Odd, not a lot of information about State Farm's MC insurance online, agent only... I wouldn't take the "saw it as a 1300 cc bike" from an agent though.
  5. Are you implying that State Farm only rates on engine size and no driver factors? Or are you saying they don't group them into Sport/SuperSport/Track etc?
  6. Read about the coverages here http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=28100 Let me know if you need anything clarified
  7. Make sure you know what coverage you NEED not what you've been quoted at before. But that applies to quoting with your agent as well.
  8. Yah it was, my roommate was on the rifle team so he got Cherry to just sign me through it. Second quarter, freshman year, got signed past 800 people. I wonder if he still brings around that big piece of cherry wood.
  9. Impressive! I'd love to try some long range shooting, but I don't have access to a high powered. Nice shots either way! Gas mask really messes with your site alignment? Do you pretty much have to go off neutral stance?
  10. And a small deal with hotDOG on a stick.
  11. ha I have rear drum too, on a 600 pound bike.
  12. http://www.viddler.com/explore/failblog/videos/200/ http://www.viddler.com/explore/failblog/videos/206/15.548/ And just for good measure
  13. I tried really focusing on that today with the new pistol but I still grouped to the left, I'm wondering if I need someone to watch me and show me exactly why I'm pulling... or I need to adjust my sights. The only thing that kills me about the video is that in their demo video they show the biggest flaw, even Mr Clean has trouble ripping his shirt open. Waiting to see, 1000 yards is always impressive.
  14. Guys, we're gonna be here a wHile if you keep this up.
  15. Well, according to our instructor, you shouldn't draw your weapon unless you are going to fire. What did the criminal do to indicate you were in danger of SERIOUS bodily harm? Did he have a gun? a knife? Just running at you?
  16. By far the best description I've ever heard.
  17. There's a difference between shooting yourself and being worried about accidental discharge. Do you take your bike out and first thing jump on the highway and take it 200 or do you want to ride it around and get used to it first? If the first thing you do is jump on the highway you're bound to kill yourself.
  18. omfg why was I not reading this thread today!?
  19. Took the new pistol to the range, 25 feet.
