Wheather you love the films or dispise them the one truth is that if any of us were given the same oportunity of a free bike, any aid you think you might need, a staff to grease the necessary palms, a camera man to travel with you and it's all paid for by someone else......... Would you say NO? All I can say is if someone gets that chance, please, hire me as the camera man!

Today was the first day I wasn't out doing this.

I have several, but one in particular that I started on last year and have yet to really finnish. Biggest trouble is the area is quickly changing and what was legal / allowed last year may be closed / outlaw areas this year. So untill you get there and preride the route you ride AYOR! The GF just got a new to her Xt225. So some of my weekends will be utilized to get her up to speed so that in time she will be able to join in on some of the easier rides. But you can bet I'll get some day rides put together this year in the area.

There is one sceen in LWR I really do like because of it's reality. Here's Ewen stuck in a marshy area of Kirkistan or Mongolia and he looks up at the camera, his face is drained, he's moments away from exhaustion, and can't catch his breath. I saw that part and thought "I've been there", I've had that look. I just didn't have to go to the other side of the world to get it. I only went to Southern Ohio.

When I live in Northern NY (Adirondacks) we had to walk 40 miles to town barefoot in 20 ft of snow, up hill both ways! It was 40 below during the day and it would drop to zero Kelvin at night! We would have to use hand crank generators to make electricity because the power lines would break the first time the snow fell and not get fixed till tourist season. Ohio talks about 29 inches being a record month! We would get 30 inches in one day, every day! To make it through the winter we would drink anything alcoholic, NiQuil, Vanilla Extract, rum balls. The seasoned people knew better than to pee outside since it would freeze faster than you could get it out and result in bad stab wounds. On the plus side women would beg to sleep with you to keep warm, at least I think they were women. It was all very sad when the snow would melt and we'd find the frozen bodies of those who didn't make it. I have no photos because cameras would freeze before the shutter could close.

I feel your pain and am officially in total agreement. I have gotten two vehicles stuck in my drive including the quad cab 4X4 Ram. Even the tractor couldn't pull it out! I was out for two hours this evening trying to clear the drive so I can get out tomorrow. I am ready to give up. This was earlier in the week after melting for a few days. What I wanna know is how come I have bare spots in the yard but 6' drifts on my driveway!

I put an item on Cl and get an e-mail asking if it is sold yet? I respond with a simple "no". An instant reply message comes back telling me not to sell my stuff on Cl but sell it on XXXX@fu.com because they don't have spammers or scammers. Well at least none other than the employees and owners.

If they can jump out of the corn this time of year they need to be in special forces or a magic show! LOL But as long as were spreading it thick, here's another rural myth for you. Not as exciting as gang bangers but what do you want?

Wow, I too am impressed by the guys well thought out manifesto and train of thought. It is apparent he was on the same line of thought as many have been saying for a while. Politics is no longer about the people, it is a bussiness that is self perpetuating. Every level makes a loop hole that feeds back to another level of government which in turn reinforces the legitamacy of the later. The real irony is that his actions are backed up by the recent actions of several politicians who have chosen to leave congress due to it's ineffective nature. The political reaction to this will be interesting to see, white wash from the media or outrage. In the mean time I intend to copy his letter so that when it is deleted from view it will not be forgotten.
