I think it has become painfully obvious that warentees are becoming worthless because no one wants to live up to them. I am waiting for children of vegan parents who wouldn't let them eat meat to sue for damages of improper nutrition and associated health effects like weak little bones from lack of calcium.

Oddly some of the worst abusers of private property are locals. Wish I had more contacts down there with land so I could get permission to ride some of the off limits/ gated areas. One of the things I love is being able to link multiple trails and roads together to make a real nice ride down there. It sadens me to see so many people having to close off their trails, counties abandon roads, and the gates go up.

Try not to piss off to many cruisers by beating them off the line on one wheel.

Just south of Big Pine on Purcell rd. Wish we were able to ride through but all the trails leading north to Big Pine are gated and posted. We try to respect the wishes of land owners when exploring but it often get confussing when sign along an unimproved road mean stay out of my woods vs this is my road stay off because other people abused it.

CHS and I rode some great trails around tar hollow and some stuff I've never ridden before! Droped the bike twice on some slick stuff (no damage, no photos either ). Still taking some getting used to riding a bike that tall offroad. The KTm 950 did well considering it still has the street front on. Gotta get that thing off and put a real tire up there. Hopefully I will be able to host another Tar Hollow DS ride in the spring using some of these new trails. Legs burning, arms whipped, head pounding, eyes blood shot, ass beaten to a pulp and I still love riding Dual Sport.

Maybe not but I have read of motorcyclist sewing construction companies working on public roads that created hazardous situations for motorcyclist without posting warnings. Never heard about any outcomes but I'm sure they'd have gotten more for spilling coffee in their lap.

There isn't a corner out here that doesn't have gravel in it. Mostly because the driveways are gravel, the roads are chip and pave, and the berm is gravel. I have become very used to riding through gravel in corners. But I suppose having DS tires makes a big difference compared to racing slicks.

There comes a point in vehicle ownership where if you have to ask about the price you're not rich enough to own one. I'd say if you own one of these cars asking what service costs would put you in the not wealthy enough to own catagory.

It's no cure for the problem and as AOW said, deer act randomly, but if you see one cross the road ahead of you there are likely to be more coming or at least nearby. So seeing the first might provide you with a few seconds to reduce speed before the next one follows. I get the feeling AOW was in a blind turn so this wouldn't have helped him.

Well, if it would help I still have a home made hog pen cage that is huge and you could use to house the pupps while you are out of the house if they are still being destructive. I made it to house my doberman (90lbs) when he was young and slowly allowed him out or left it unlocked so he could get out. Now they both have a free run of the house all day and never tear a thing up. It might need to be cleaned up a bit but is about 5'X3' and about 3'tall. The cage would require a pickup to haul it off and a little reassembly. I should be around Sunday if you're interested PM me.

The DL1000 is my favorite for distance riding. The KTM is my favorite for suspension. The YZ 426 is my favorite for poping wheelies. The KE 100 is my favorite for return upon sale. The Xt 250 is my favorite for being a great trainning bike. The V-Max was my favorite for making me look like a posser.

Of course not but they do improve your chances of ducking that first throwing star or running head long into a meteor hole in the road. There of course is no way to really prepare for zombies other than practicing by running over skunks in the road.

The scarry part is what they have in the grocery cart. Children!

I'd give up the kids before the dogs but that's just me. Besides kids talk back and can be real assholes.
