  1. I always find it ironic that people who respect no one else get so pissed off when no one respects them. I'll let everyone figure out which people are which. As for the terrorist(s) who committed this atrocity they can rot in hell. Maybe they can be sentenced to something cruel and unusual like a 300K run with pork chops tied around their necks thru some wonderful Alaskan wilderness during height of the most hungry time of year for the Brown bears.
  2. Got to try my hand at Skeet with the new thrower. Did pretty well and probably hit 25 out of 30 or so. Felt good and justified my expenses in equipment to date.
  3. That's because Dick's lacks Balls.
  4. Nah, they'll just come and take yours.
  5. They'll compromise. They'll only make you pay half as much for the background check as they wanted but will later raise the amount 100 times as the money is diverted for other programs with feel good labels. Welcome to New Russia.
  6. That's why everyone is getting video cameras in their vehicles, after all we are becoming like Russia not the other way around with our Democratic law makers so get ready to reap the fun.
  7. +1 no appointments needed in Madison.
  8. Trying to get into skeet shooting on a budget. $30 clay pigeon thrower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuCpx0xg8QE
  9. I made another steel target. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSrMSl4bxUA
  10. A short video of shooting the new target. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4pLx0uakFg
  11. Too true but after trying the .40cal on it I think it's okay. I may weld a weight to the top as a counter weight in the future though. On another note I found it will stop a 7.62X39 round but suffered some damage. It was an easy weld fix though and when I get some more grinding wheels I'll make it so it looks better.
  12. So in response to my need for a steel plate target capable of my friends who believe ammo sizes begin at 45 cal, I spent some time making this. 1 inch thick piece of old rail road steel welded to trail track irons hung from a piece of rebar.

    North Korea

Here what we do. We have a basketball war. If they win they can have Dennis Rodman, if we win they get John Kerry as their new dictator.

    22LR Rounds

    Going, going.....gone:rolleyes:
  16. I'm sorry but I'm in the you run you pay camp. I will say that the head on hit is very aggressive and begs the question why? What did they do to start the chase and two what was the threat if they got away?
  17. I don't know, looks like your sort of limp wristing it. Cool shot, worth 15 tries.
  18. Most CHL classes do a great job educating people about the basics. What some don't seem to teach as well is maintenance and clearing jams. Get some dummy rounds so she can practice chambering and clearing. Also let he learn to disassemble and clean the gun. After the class is a better time for training on shooting. That way she can build on what she learned instead of having to battle preconceived ideas.
  19. I know the feeling but I guess if you only buy what you need to shoot you can keep the hurt down to a minimum. And it is better than what you'd pay on gunbot.net.
  20. They have had seemingly regular shipments. Unlike Vandalia Tactical, Vandalia Armory and so many other places. But then again they are higher priced too. Tula ammo 9mm for $15 and Remington flat nose for close to $20 for 50 rounds. Basically higher end of normal. As for a decent price. I've been happy with my S&W sd40ve and maybe the SD 9VE would be an inexpensive option?
  21. As everyone is saying 99% of the battle right now is finding ammo for the gun, not just finding the gun you like. Many would probably tell you if you have a home defense weapon you might wanna wait to see if the shortage lets up a little and certain calibers become more available. Other wise the best place I've found ammo is at gun shows. But you pay thru the nose for it! You'd think if you had to pay to get in you'd get a price break, not a 200% mark up. But if $50 for 50 rounds of 9mm sounds like a bargain to you, go for it.
  22. I only stopped in there because the web sight keeps showing 9mm and 40 in stock. So I'm thinking they have it but with no case to put it in are storing it till the move is done.
