  1. Yeah, most places selling SD in 40 run fro, $25 to $35 for a box of 20 depending on brand. So at $35 a box it's a steal! Wish I was closer.
  2. Just an FYI. The Waaaa-mart in Marysville is tearing out their current ammo display case. Currently not ordering any hand gun ammo. But once it is moved / complete might be a good place to find some ammo?
  3. I have a Ruger MKIII, great pistol but kind of a pain at times to clean, friend has an M&P22 and it is also a great pistol. Those are the only two I can recommend unless you are talking wheel guns.
  4. If you can find them of all the walmarts (5 of them around me) none have had any 9, 40 or 22lr.
  5. There was all sorts of ammo at the gun show in Dayton today but it was stupid high priced. I saw lots of 22lr priced at over $.25 a round! Reloaded 9mm at over $30 for 50 rounds and reloaded 40 at over $40 for 50 rounds! I bought nothing but watched like it was a slow motion train wreck as desperate looking people lined up to pay these stupid prices.
  6. Went to Dayton gun show for laughs with a friend. Walking around looking at the prices was funny for a while, then it became a WTF factor as we watched people actually buying at those prices and then just became sad because we had paid $8 just to walk thru the door and be ripped off by people wanting $40 for 100 rounds 22lr or $45 for 50 rounds 40S&W reloads. We made ourselves feel better by visiting a lgs on the way home and picking up 100 rounds CCI 22lr for $4 a box of 50.
  7. Did he shot you with a Cannon?
  8. I was at the range today with my future brother in law shooting the S&W 40 and Glock 19 g4. I so can't wait for warmer weather when I can enjoy doing this in my back yard. 30ft
  9. Well, I doubt my 235 ft range will give you the distance needed to determine the rifles accuracy. After all with open sights I can drill a 6X6 plate at that distance pretty regularly.
  10. I had one of those in the 80's I bought for $65. They are a reliable gun and pretty accurate but would do a number on my shoulder because of the small butt and steal plate. For the cost of the gun I'd just keep it as is. Obviously they aren't getting cheaper and who knows in 20 years you could sell it for $500. I guess I'm a purist, But then again after selling that one I got this M44 for $65.
  11. I had one as a kid. That was all fun!

    22LR Rounds

I know I was rolling in 9mm in my mind and no worries about 22lr till I bought a MKIII and was suddenly going thru it real fast. Like most I think I'm stuck in a "if I find it I buy it" mind set. It's just to easy to go thru ammo on a fun range day where the gun is spot on and you are sending them as fast as you can load them.

    22LR Rounds

I remember when you could buy 1 gallon milk jugs at K Mart for $10. And people say the 80's sucked.
  15. Looks dark and scary in there.

  18. I'd do exactly what he did. Moreover I'd have probably recorded it for public release later.
  19. Put the first 50 rounds thru the new gun today with some friends. Weather was tolerable till about 4:00 when the wind chill got the best of us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3fbwVDDVV8
  20. I guess the real question, after visiting NY and hearing all the people who said they don't care what the "law" says, they are not registering or getting rid of their guns. Question is who actually plans to abide by any assault weapons ban? As a side note, druggies wanting to ban guns is a oxymoron. Where do the simpletons think their money for their drugs go? Maybe to criminal drug lords who guess what, own all sorts of guns and have people using them so that the druggies can get their product. Totally hypocritical!
  21. My part time job is awesome. Maybe someday it will be full time.
  22. Well if you watch the second video, you are in a couple shots "sort of". That's you in front of me thru the corners and you going the other way across the dam at Mohican dam.
  23. Mine has been beaten, banged, ridden off road, in rain, mud, dropped, and keeps going. I may have to have the valves checked as it's got 38,000 on it. It's great bike for an 07'. Here's a video made at the end of last fall on a nice day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWRYqwmwAg4 And another video from when it was still newish in 08' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoWWlZHSepM Adirondacks Deals Gap Devils tower, Death Valley, Yellowstone, Sturgis, Lead, Steam Boat and Jackson Hole.
  24. I took my KTM to a QSL night once. I learned that was a very confusing thing to do as leather vest riders kept coming up and asking who makes that bike. I think the black and orange color confused them too much to read the tank.
