  1. Here are some of the obstacles I made out back from digging the pond below.

  3. I'm 6'4" also and rode the stock seat to Yellowstone, the Adirondacks and Charleston, SC / Deals Gap. I know different people have different seating styles. I tend to crouch forward a bit. As for standing, I have no issue doing it for miles and miles.
  4. Are you looking at building an MX track or just a fun single track loop? An MX track with jumps and such is a real project and takes lots of dirt, real equipment and maintenance. No a single track loop is easier. I used my tractor to mow the tall grass and then just rode the area over and over. Then I used dirt from a pond I dug to make some obstacles and little jumps.
  5. Sorry can't help. Stock seat, for 6 years and I just stand up if my ars starts to get tired.
  6. If you need a club to motivate you to ride then go join a club. If you need leather jacket and patches to feel special then get them. It's when you feel the club and patches give you more rights than someone else that you go wrong.
  7. Well, if someone has the money to pay for it I'll run for President if I have to.
  8. As you can see I'm already in a gang and we draw babes and babies as you can tell. Oh and nobody in our gang wears leather, the only jumping in or out is done by hitting a curb and the dues are paid in MC parts and farkles.
  9. Thanks I checked a few reviews and saw two where hollow point .22 ammo was identified as an issue. So I thought I'd ask if he has experienced similar issues. Not a big deal but good to know before you go to the range with a box of HP ammo for the new to you gun.
  10. Two questions 1. Where is Zombiland? 2. Does yours have issues with HP ammo?

  12. I'll remember Joes' advice next deer season. Every time I hear an intruder out back I'll be shooting my shotgun into the night and hoping it's an eight pointer.
  13. Well, maybe the next time you look at a boom stick you will compare it's price to a good safe. And if your kids had friends who's parents were not so well educated? This is not an act of disarmament. It is an act of defense from a culture full of theft and ignorance. How do parents who have taught their kids to be safe drivers react when their child wrecks a vehicle due to reckless actions? It happens, that is what kids do. Every person makes their own best judgement on what security is. But there is no harm in influencing others to increase their security and safety with firearms.
  14. And how much do you have invested in your firearms? $1000, $2000, more? I've seen some very good safes for under $800. People are paying more than that for one gun!
  15. One Goal. To secure our freedom to bear arms by securing our arms when not bearing them. https://www.facebook.com/SecuredForFreedom?ref=stream If you are on Facebook please consider liking this page showing you are a responsible gun owner who not only wants to defend your rights but protect your firearms from theft and needless accidents.
  16. People write those letter and make those phone calls. Let them know you are watching and disapprove or they will think the media has the pulse of the nation and we want these bans. Today it was "Surely" Smiths' turn for a letter from me.

    Gun Storage

Very nice offer. I hope someone needing a safe gets it and puts it to good use.

    Gun Storage

Well, being you obviously are dumber than a skid mark, I'll explain. Since the NRA and all responsible parties agree that no gun law will keep criminals from obtaining firearms because they can always steel them from morons who leave them sitting around the house while they aren't home, it makes sense to lock them up when they are not in use! A concealed carry is hard to conceal when locked inside a safe. Please take your right hand, reach waaayyyyy up your rear and pull your heads out if you feel you can argue criminals get guns from lawfully arm citizens and then never lock your guns up when they are not in use. If your not part of the solution you are part of the problem.

    Gun Storage

Here's an article about Washington's proposed law. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/19/democrats-gun-bill-lets-washington-state-sheriffs-/ While I don't support a law like this, I do know it is irresponsible not to lock up your guns when not in use. My dad didn't and his guns were stolen in the 80's, my uncle in the middle of the Adirondacks had his stolen, the mall shooting in Washington state was done with a friends gun that wasn't locked up and Sandy Hook happened because screw balls mom didn't. Don't be part of the problem, lock them up when not in use. And as for cost, if you can afford a $1000 rifle you can afford a $1000 safe to put it in.

    Gun Storage

There are no laws in Ohio concerning safe storage in the home. However, to store a handgun in an unsafe manor is inviting trouble IMHO and most experienced gun owners. Even if you live alone, to not secure weapons is providing a burglar with a gun that could be used in a crime.
  21. As a Doberman owner, might I suggest a better answer? I am assuming this Doberman is friendly? If so get some dog treats and feed the dog by hand when you see him out. Dobermans are smart and don't tend crap where they eat. So by feeding it in and around your yard as it comes to visit it may decide to pick a new yard. Of course the ultimate option in my book is to talk to the owner and explain to them your next step will be to call the authorities if they are unwilling to keep the doberman in their yard. Of course if you are someone who doesn't want a back yard fence you may need to work out an agreement where they come and pooper scoop your yard.

  23. As explained to us by the lawyer who spoke at our ccw you may be in the right but it does not mean you will not be prosecuted or sued. If you defend yourself with a weapon you better expect to be defending that action in a court room. It sounds like the best answer if to set up video cameras all over your house so when you do shoot someone you have video proof of their actions and the fear in your actions.
  24. Well, here's where a lot of the ammo is going. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/02/homeland-security-now-armed-with-enough-ammo-for-24-year-long-iraq-war/ Makes you wonder who the DHS is preparing to go to war with?
