If you really wanna make friends head to AD Farrow on something other than an HD to meet a girl on a Harley. I'm sure I heard three low growls when I pulled out of the parking lot with her following me. On the other hand there used to be a dealership near IP that was the quicky-mart of bike sales. Took a girl there to look for a DS ride for her and the sales guy started spilling miss-information all over the place. I could barely correct him fast enough, so I finaly asked him, "what sort of bike do you ride". He answered he didn't ride at all. I refused his business card and said try it sometime before you sell anyone a bike.

Harley dealers are pretty stuck up sometimes. Plus didn't HD kick Eric Buell to the curb?

It's a heavy bike but it wheelies okay. Not like a MX bike but my avitar lives as proof. Most my wheelies are for crossing ruts, logs and other obstacles. As for tires I like the Shinko 244's and Kenda track masters.

Oh hell people put tractor mufflers on KLRs.

Might want to get some better tires and better put that engine guard back on the bike. Like that IMS tank.

Sounds like the start to a killer joke, but the joke was on all the suckers who went to work Wednesday. We had a great time riding from Granville east along the back gravel and dirt roads towards Mohawk dam and then down to Desden, then heading back to Granville on some more gravel roads. 276 miles of highway, two lane, single lane, gravel and off road on the V strom with a GS1200 and 950ADV north of Dresden and around Mohawk dam area. Ride home to Springfield was really windy. The 110 mph wind was wicked (70 mph me + 40mph wind) We found the last ones to try to ride here in a ditch.
