  3. After high siding after a jump, I found my foot peg had come off and it wasn't because I hadn't tightened the bolts. Upon further inspection I found the threads had stripped out from rust and corrosion. My answer was two fold.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_92apgP4iTw

  9. Might I suggest a pellet gun?
  10. Well, my vote for bad outcome of the month club will go like this. Contractor is found to have purchased sub grade steel but will have documents showing it meets spec. Inspectors will say that city officials signed off on the design and there was insufficient funding to trace the metal back to where it really came from. Mean time injured workers wil be tied up in court for years trying to sue for millions and in the end the lawyers will walk away with all the money.
  11. I make no pretenses about not being a Harley fan, but I got a little tear in the corner of my eye knowing what you have to be feeling. You did a lot of work on that bike and it shows, so letting go will be an unsure moment. If you want one last video of the bike rolling let me know otherwise there is this too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31a7IGK9rSc
  12. Have you ever worked with engineers? They could miss tires on a car
  13. My HJC fits and works great. Plus they aren't $500 helmets.
  14. I'd bet against it. The cards are stacked in favor of bad construction. Wonder if the bookies are giving odds on it happening in Columbus?
  15. Spoken like a true HD rider.
  16. You'll need all new riding gear!
  17. Amazing that Washington people have any money when they invest our taxes like this. Maybe Obama should pay the taxes he plundered back? 01/26/12 Plundering the Treasury 'To the victors go the spoils' is an age-old phrase that has applied to politics for decades. It has reached new heights in the last few years. Months ago, the 'green energy' company Solyndra declared bankruptcy, taking with it more than half a billion dollars in taxpayer money. In recent days, Solyndra attempted to pay employees half a million dollars in bonuses even while a local news station videotaped employees destroying millions of dollars in equipment. The failed marriage of 'green energy' companies and taxpayer dollars is widespread. This administration in Washington gave more than $6.5 billion in taxpayer money to at least a dozen 'green energy' companies in various stages of financial difficulty including five that have already declared bankruptcy. One company, Beacon Power, received millions even though it had a junk bond rating. Try making that kind of investment in the private sector and the feds will open an investigation. A common thread with all of these companies is they are owned by Obama fundraisers, political advisers, or they benefit Obama supporters such as Senator Harry Reid and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. This is truly a despicable effort by the Washington crowd to plunder the Treasury in order to enrich friends, donors, and political supporters. Posted at BEHINDTHEHEADLINES with Mark Hieman
  18. New Albany, proof that just because you have money doesn't mean your smart. Victim = I was driving in the left lane, reading the cost analysis report I was to busy to read at work because I was sniffing the secretaries panties, and trying to enjoy my moca-capo- extra frothy-exresso columbian blend, retune my GPS to show me the weather 30 feet ahead of me and also readjusting my steering wheel so I could cross my legs when this kid behind me flashes his lights for no reason. So I jacked the breaks trying to get him to rear end me because this is my road built for me by my boss Less Wexmillionair. Perp = Dude was all over the road, talking on the phone speeding up to 85 then coasting down to 45 before he'd look up, hogging the left lane so I couldn't get past him for over a mile. That's when I did like on the autobahn and flashed my lights. He hits the breaks making me drop my big mac and f-up my cd changer sitting in the trunk. So I went Grand Turino on his ass like in da movies. Yep, both are idiots.
  19. Remember, random crotch grabs and multiple TeBow's make it a spectacle that the wife and neighbors can enjoy. Plus it makes for great You Tube video! 23. I'm kidding. Quads have a bad rep with me for tearing up trails, lack of any riding gear, drunk driving and wallowing in mud holes like pigs till they are so deep nothing can get thru them. HSR didn't appear to have these issues and the quad riders we saw were enjoying the trails and riding responsibly. It appears many locals simply call HSR "Buds" as the owners name is Bud. I enjoyed it there and plan to visit there again.
