  1. Fixed. Technically the use of a quad on the road can be done if you own a farm and have an SMV plaque on the back. Any farm vehicle with an SMV can be driven on road legally but the law leaves a lot to interpretation by the LEO as to what is a farm vehicle.
  2. That is every off road area for you isn't it? HAve you ever made it to Maumee APV? I wanna make it up there to do a review of the park like I did for Richland Furnace APV. Still trying to figure out exactly where it is. Looks like it's between Cr B and C off off twn 2?
  3. Sounds like you guys were playing bumper bike or something. Seems OR rides have a lot of oppsees. The only OR ride I ever went on left night rider bikeless for a long time
  4. Well after this weekend weather is supposed to clear a bit. So post up the next time you head down. Maybe I'll take the Wr/yz426:D

    WTF is this?

Careful, they'll make them mandatory for street bikes so when you start riding too fast smoke will roll off the tire to let police know to have a ticket waiting.

    WTF is this?

Would be real handy offroad in the woods. Them, "Where are you?" Me , "Follow the red smoke".
  7. I hate it when that happens. You were in the lead right? Just go reride it all and post that video.
  8. Good graphics. Is that a program you bought or editing using utube?

What's a PITA? Are you calling my bike unleavened bread?
  10. I do tons of dual sport riding around Tar Hollow and just got the 426 set so it can be made street legal again. We'll be doing a loop this weekend that will go thru Richland Furnace APV on Sunday. Get a time and date for when you plan to do the off road riding and I'll try to show.
  11. You gotta realize that the trucks on this part of 129 and unsafe regardless of other traffic. If you have never been there I could understand your hesitation. The fact that you say you have makes me wonder why you'd put yourself at that level of risk let alone others? There are plenty of other examples of roads that are hazardous for large vehicles which have trucks banned from them. Just add this to the list.

If it does it will be in the $2400 range.
  13. Please view second link for photos of why trucks need to stay off this road. If a motorcycle can't get passed a truck on the dragon what chance does a car have?
  14. Maybe the legal question is will you sign the petitions? Copied from another forum. Ikes law is aimed at keeping large and over sized vehicles off 129 because of the roads dangerous curves and large population of motorcyclists who ride on it. The obvious issue is discussed at length on the other forum, riders need to slow down, be aware of possible obstacles that could be in their path.
  15. Yeah, that or if someone is right in front of you throwing a mud roost your way, please keep the goggles on.

The origional stators had a flaw. So they started reworking the design. Three months after I returned mine under warranty Electrosport was bought out. I tried to force the issue with then Attorney General Cordray but was told they went under nothing he could do. Lucky, the president of the new parent company sent me a letter stating that when they got the new design finished and tested I'd be sent one. Well, a year and a broken leg latter I decided to sell the bike as I hardly ride it being not street legal. Everyone wanted to get it at the KBB of a regular YZ426 because of the stator issue. So I looked online and found Electrosport had stators for the 426 for sale again. I contacted them and asked why I never got mine. They said records must have been lost please resend the proof. I found the letter from the president of the Co and a week later I had the stator. That's why.

After a year and a half plus of waiting for the replacement stator for the YZ424 from Electrosport, they finally sent the replacement two weeks ago. Today it was installed. The psychopathic dual sport lives again! Low to decide what to do with it. A. save money renew tags and insure. B. Just get a trail sticker and make it my State APV bike. C. Put it back on CL as a street legal dirt bike. What to do?
  18. A lot of the riding I do is in very tight technical trails. So often you get into areas doing 5-10 mph on hot humid summer days. At these times it's nice to be able to swing the goggles off and get fresh air to the face with all that gear on. Some people sweat, I leave a trail of salty water behind me.
  19. Used to sell the sticker for Wayne in Nelsonville, not sure exactly where. Only riding I've done in Wayne is renegade. I thinks it's stupid a plated vehicle can't use the trails since we've already been taxed to be street legal.
  20. My KLR already does that and has a fresh daisy smell. Plus it sounds like crickets mating.
  21. "natural selection, lets stop fucking with what worked for 300 million years."
  22. Sowing wild oats and hoping for crop failures?
  23. Keep in mind alcohol is illegal in the Wayne NF and all vehicle require Fed ORV stickers. My new Moto, "If it isn't fun anymore or costs too much, thank a politician."
  24. Quit having babies then, humans are not a fucking endangered species!
