I was at the US 500 at MIS back in 98 when Adrian Fernandez hit the wall and his front wheel assembly came over the fence impacting the spectators and it killed 3 people and injured many more. I was down in turn 1 so I didn't actually see it happen but they cleared that section on the grandstands out and placed tarps over where the people had been sitting. This was back when they had the big CART IRL split and the turbo charged CART cars easily outpaced the IRL's cars. I do believe that they were averaging around 240mph during this event.

Try sonic springs, I know many people who use these and are extremely happy with them. http://www.sonicsprings.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=25_126&osCsid=bcdefd406f76a71c3d617baeaa4edcc7

Put some studded tires on your YZ and it will be a lot more fun then the big KTM plus you won't have any problems making back to your garage.

330 is nothing like that gasoline place, they don't even allow quads on the big track let alone your 4X4. I've never been to gasoline but you got to love a place that puts photo's on there own web-site of guys airing out on 4-wheelers helmetless.

I don't know about their exhaust but I did purchase a replacement radiator for 1 of my bikes last year for 1/2 the cost of a OEM unit. It fit perfect and I'm totally happy with it.

I can't believe you still have this either. I sold it in 23 minutes after posting my for sale thread originally. This bike is a ton of fun and whoever the next owner turns out to be I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Starting July 1st it is required that you have a actual plate on your APV and the cost is going up to $31.25 http://ourohio.org/magazine/past-issues-2009/november-december-2009/no-trespassing/

330 is a great track and pretty long to boot, I don't remember off the top of my head but it's at least 1 mile long. It's all natural terrain with lots of elevation change. The have a "C" track as well if you get tired and just want to cruise for a bit. Another 1 close to me is Crow Canyon, I'm not a big fan of their MX track ( to easy) but they do have a ton of trails and open area to cruise around at a easy pace if you like.

Maybe for you, all in days work for me and I didn't need to replace anything more than the shift forks.

I don't know if they will give you the same price if you walk in but this seems like a good deal to me if you like Michelin tires. http://www.compacc.com/p.cfm/c/1701001/p/11537

MX'r here but I'm on the other side of the state from you, I do make it up to Red Bud a couple times a year if you ever ride up there. We have many natural terrain tracks on the eastern side of the state and my favorites would be Beans, Area 330, Scenic Highlands. No 2 smokes for me though, I was a early convert and have been on thumpers since the 98 YZ 400. If your at least a decent "B" rider I have a friend near Wooster with a private supercross track at his house and can get you a invite for one of his many riding parties. These guys do ride hard though and won't tolerate putting around in 2nd gear. All photo's here are from his track.

It could be a bent shift fork as well and I have replaced these on a ZRX (identical bottom end as a ZX-11) with the the motor in the frame. For any other ZRX owners the tranny from a ZX-11D is a direct "drop in" if you would like a 6 speed rather than 5. ZX-11 cams are drop ins as well for the ZRX1100 or ZZR cams in the 1200 and good for another 10-12 HP.

Here is what you ask any contractor you are considering Are you licensed? Are you insured? Are you bonded? Do you carry workers compensation insurance? How many years have you been in the window, siding, gutter business? Who can I call as references? Where can I see some samples of your work? How long do you warrant your work? Do you provide a written warranty? Who do you bank with? Can I call your bank for a credit reference? I worked for a commercial building supplier for many years and can tell you Anderson windows are not worth the cash. They do offer a pretty good warranty but I would rather not have any problems to begin with. On 1 of my homes I had Lowes install Pella replacement windows about 7 years ago and I have not had any problems with them at all and would even recommend them.

A nice cheap mod on these is -1 +2 gearing, I've had 2 friends with these and that change makes them lots O fun. These are great bikes and the only thing I don't like about them is the tach. Poplar with the gays too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeDPRxW0uqQ

You might want to hit up some of the local MX tracks as well for practice. The bikes there are moving much slower compared to road racing tracks and you can generally go any place on the track that you like. You will definitely have to clean your equipment more often but you can get some great shots as well.

I have a few of those bikes as well. My Cannondale "Crash A terium" bike is pretty old school with 6 speed Campagnolo record and sew up wheels & tires. I still have my old Cinelli Super Corsa Pista fixed gear from when I lived in San Diego and use to ride the velodrome in Balboa park.

Put In Bays First Bike Week 06-09-10 to 06-13-10
fox_racing_guy replied to Rattler's topic in Events
Thats what I'm thinking, what a dumb place to have a bike event. 3 miles long with a top speed limit of 35mph, that why everyone drives golf carts there. Maybe they will have drag races on the airport runway? -
All those tracks are just local to me and the 1's I frequent the most. pitracer.com is a off-road specific web-site for in and around Ohio, it is a pay site though and I believe it's $12 a year. I am a member there as well.

Those HIV vaccines might come in handy now that they are going to let 200,000 people from Haiti into the country

I thought this would have been a bigger story around here. If this pans out in the end it could be great for Ohio in general. http://www.wkyc.com/news/health/health_article.aspx?storyid=129290&catid=7

They let kids on 50's race 1/2 mile tracks as well, this is from the Stark Co. fair grounds where they have races every Memorial day weekend.
-
I'm in for that, I got a friend with a home right on the slopes of Holimont so I can stay free.

Thats my guess as well, I had a GM product in the past that had this exact problem. It had 3 individual coil packs and 1 of them would give out intermediately and the fricking codes were everything from knock sensor to crank angle sensor.
