  1. I was just using that as a rough guide - not being in the market for a 125 smoker MX bike I had no clue as to what it should cost. I guess I'll go with the "rode hard, put away wet, beaten on, needs rebuilt" theory. I'm just leery of Craigslist in general.
  2. Saw this on Columbus Craigslist just now. Not looking for one, but the price seems to good to be true, i.e. it's stolen. KBB retail value says $2205 Thoughts? ===================== 2005 KTM 125sx - $750 (Logan, Ohio) Date: 2010-01-21, 8:50PM EST Reply to: sale-jbtw6-1564386684@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] I have a 2005 KTM 125sx for sale. 3. ...was thinking the same thing, but wasn't gonna say nuthin'...
  4. About 3 months ago, give or take. There is a B-Dubs on Polaris and one at the Graceland Shopping center, both seem to be doing a good-to-great business every time I go by. There will be at least 2 people at the Polaris one 6-ish tonight - Jr. suggested we go there. Hope to see you at lunch today!
  5. yup, changed it! I was gonna attempt to explain how I came up 0.021, but it would be too difficult to type/read...

  6. Attendee list posted in post #1, based upon replies. This is happening today, for those that "calendar-challenged" (like me).
  7. Considering it was recorded in a basement, it sounds great! Looking at the MyBook/FaceSpace/whatever pictures, I think if you angled the up-ended couch a little bit the ride cymbal would come through more cleanly.... I know the band hasn't, but have you ever played out? If not, the first time will be a little off-putting, but you'll be fine - nothing to worry about. Pretend you're back in the basement with the fellas and a 12-er. Nothing to it. Invite 20 or so people over to your rehearsel space, cram 'em in the basement, get them liquoured - it'll be just like Mean Mr. Mustard's or Stache's back in the day...

  9. ^^^^^ That is how a company should deal with something like that - reinforce that they care about what they do, acknowledge the mistake, and then add some humor. Kudos to Ms. Eckard.

    Buy a helmet

Are the sizes above in order with the helmets in the picture, left to right? In other words, the yellow/silver in the middle is MD, and the purple one next to it is SM/MD? Possibly looking for one for my kiddo, he would need small/med. He would probably like the second from the left, but if it's large, it would be too big.
  11. I'd make a comment about how nice the penguin is but I'd be labeled a zealot, trying to spread my religion, when I <should> know that I can't do anything on Linux except maybe run Apache, and only then if it's on a server, at a corporation.
  12. I've been using it on Crunchbang (#!), a.k.a. Ubuntu 9.04 with Openbox, for 3 or so weeks. Love it. Loads in maybe a quarter second where Firefox is about 4 or 5 seconds. Set the Home Page to the "use new tab" option - my favorite feature, tied with the speed pages are rendered. Get the occasional (twice, maybe 3 times) lock up trying to play some pr0n video but other than that it's good.

    iPhone OS 4.0

Supports Flash, doesn't support Flash. Meh. Who cares, really? http://m.youtube.com renders in .3GP, if you <have> to see a clip on your mobile. The following is about the desktop, but you get the point:

  15. I have your bike's little brother, the GSX 650 F. Thank you for your service, sir!
  16. I stand corrected, you can get On-Demand (a.k.a pay-per-spank) in 1080p on Dish, but not "regular" channels. I've got cable so I don't keep up on the satellite stuff. At the prices charged, at least on cable, I might as well rent the Blu-Ray and be done with it. Plus, I can make a backup of it, just in case the video store loses their copy... Are you able, on Dish, to DVR your On-Demand viewings? I can't on cable. I've got 2 Vizio panels, no complaints in 2-ish years of ownership, FWIW. Both look great; start by putting them in "cinema" mode and adjust from there. All panels/TV's are way too bright from the factory. My 10 year old Toshiba 61" projection still looks great when fed an HD signal.
  17. It was passable (pun intended) for lunch today....
  18. 55" or larger, or sitting closer than 1.5 x the diagonal measurement AND feeding it 1080p (Blu-Ray), go with 1080p. Cable/Satellite HD is 720p. Not gonna be 1080p for a LONG time - bandwidth. XBox 360 / PS3 games (most) are native 720p. There are some that are offered in 1080p.
  19. Maybe an informant told 'em QuikZX9R and crew was coming to town?
