i also heard that along with go pros issues they seem to have forgotten where they came from. He used to be a small distributor for go pro, and once they got into stores like walmart and best buy , they wanted nothing to do with there smaller counter parts. While I have a go pro, I don't believe I will be buying a second one.

I love it. It rides beautifully. Its quiet, it gets very similar fuel mileage as my colorado did. I'm averaging 17-18 city 21-22 highway. Double the truck. I pulled my 6x10 trailer with the quad on it over the weekend, and you'd never known it was back pulling a trailer. I took my grandparents to dinner the other night, and they comfortably sat in the back seat. Since taking possession , I have tinted the front windows, added rear mud flaps and step bars. This ones going to be around awhile. Its great..for my needs.

I wasn't super close with Jerry but I saw and talked to him pretty regularly. We both work in the same line of work and always had good convo. Too bad. Super nice guy. I always looked forward to talking with him.

I don't normally start many threads but I just need to get some crap off my shoulders. This time of year sucks. Rewind to feb 20 2011. My dad suddenly passed away due to an ulcer perforating his stomach. Fast forward one month to march 20 . A good friend of mines mother suddenly passed away due to a heart attack. She was like a second mom to me. Whom happend to pass away on my fathers birthday and said friends birthday. Fast forward to yesterday and as some of you may know, the Miami county highway department had a guy killed on the job. He was also a friend of mine. It just seems like this time of year always gets me down. I'm ready to ride. Enjoy life as you never know when your hour glass may run out!

A few buddies of mine go there every year. Grantid they are on artic cat 4x4s, but they love it.

I have to admit, my fz1 in terms of power is way more than what I need. What i do find I like about having that power on hand is, when in heavy twisties, i don't need to shift near as much, I can just roll on throttle and it has plenty of grunt to do so. While I have never spent much time on small bikes, as I rode one season on a cbr f3 and before the end of that season I was on a triumph sprint st 955. After that, it was on to the fz1. The reason for the switch to the fz1. Two up riding, as most of you said. If i didn't do any two up riding I could very easily ride an fz6 with good suspension under it! Very good write up!

I hear squids bouncing their bikes off the rev limiter and harleys chugging through gears to get on 75.... Riding season is near. Ride safe everyone!

the way i understand things, a sealer is good, but it won't have the shine a good carnuba wax will do, so it seems to be the trend of sealing and then waxing over the sealer.

Heres my plan of attack on my new truck. wash clay seal with poor boys world ex sealer with carnuba wax with collinite 845
