  1. Completely different motor. I’ve had a 690 Duke already. 690 is also completely different than early 690’s. They’re on the 5th gen now. Vibration was fixed in the 3rd gen
  2. Linworth is a decent area. Good choice.
  3. Those bastards teased their way into my finances with the 790 and now out of nowhere offer a threesome knowing I’m too weak to say no. So much for adulting and traffic laws again https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2019/02/05/first-look-2019-ktm-690-smc-r-13-fast-facts/

    2019 Gap Trip.

I like Fontana. That’s where I stay every time I go alone or with friends too.
  5. 19 he’s good to go then. When track opens back up for season I’ll see if we’re doing promo certs again, if so I’ll get one to you. Bill and Brian occasionally hand out a couple discount certs an couple free ones for us to give to people that haven’t done a PTR day yet
  6. There is no other Novice program that I’ve seen that is more structured than PTR at Mid O. It’s definitely a good deal for a very inexperienced rider.
  7. I’m not currently but I did coach Novice on and off for 2 seasons. I’m still a part time track medic there. Probably coach some when new bike comes in. What did you need to know? Isaac isn’t 18 yet though is he? Mid O doesn’t allow under 18. Some of the the other orgs do but Mid O doesn’t. Current insurance will not cover minors.
  8. Adults can ride any bike they want. Just can’t run in kids 50 lol. That’s the only kids only class
  9. Sorry trying to help. Nope never heard of them
  10. I’d go this route or GSXR rear personally. Both cheaper options with proven results. Before either of those though I’d check 3 things. Chain tension, looser is better. Tire pressure, lower is better. And your body position. Get your weight over the front not on the rear. Then there’s less fat boy on rear. Most of your weight should be over the tank. Not saying the suspension isn’t the problem, just saying those three things almost always are the real problem when street riders get a taste of the track then start pushing themselves and paying attention to what the bike is doing. Going to a Q3 or 4 tire will help too
  11. Um isn’t that what you do? And if not it would still be less than 1100 and yield all that you need if you’re truly out riding the stock capabilities. Not slamming you by any means, just asking because I’ve seen several guys on those running I and A in stock form. Thats why I’m asking about out riding it and what it’s doing that makes you feel an 1100 shock is needed? Try to help you sort it before dumping that cash and seeing no improvement in your performance.
  12. Well I won’t text you then lol. I was going to see if yours was for sale
  13. I won’t make the whole season but I do plan on making a few rounds. Undecided on which class as of now. Most likely Supermoto
  14. Off the shelf generally only equals marginally better than oem. Are you certain you’re out riding your current suspension? Personally if so, Id start with front suspension over rear and at 1100 I’d be looking at Ohleins or Penske. Also I’d suggest looking into a GSXR suspension swap over dumping that kind of cash
  15. Realtors there must charge more. Mine is a flat fee of 4% of final sale price, 3% if she does sale and purchase of your new house both.
  16. Yes, but it works the same way on a sale. They know the market better and more exposure. Plus when buying aren’t you selling as well? I mean I am because I can’t afford multiple houses lol
  17. Hell with karts, tell me more of this you speak of
  18. This. The house I just bought, our realtor easily saved us 10K with her knowledge of specials that Huntington was doing and connected us with bar none the best mortgage officer I’ve ever used. I had all my financials in order and preapproved with another bank already but at her suggestion I talked to Vicki at Huntington. Easily saved 10K on the loan with closing and incentives I knew nothing about before her. And the contract she wrote up for us got a few things fixed on the house that I missed. You use one not because you can’t do it on your own but because they’re more knowledgeable about it than you are. In a purchase that large that knowledge can mean a ton of money. In my case over 10K
  19. Right. Ive rode Mach Retard enough with you that I knew something wasn’t right when you crested that hill. I was well versed in your braking habits and the way you hit them hard at that crest then Tim lifted the rear I remember vividly saying oh fuck out loud and grabbing everything I had before I could even see the other side. Without a doubt the biggest ass pucker I’ve ever had
  20. Not sure what kept a couple of us alive chasing Chris down that wherever the hell we were road in GA
  21. That would be a selling point and worth some extra coin. Between the suspension that was about as good as what comes on a Walmart mountain bike and the hard as a rock no grip tires there was just no desire to even try and ride a fun pace Ive heard that too but the sorted price is almost half what the bike costs. The suspension and tires both were horrible and the front brake was never consistent or remotely good. Absolutely loved the motor though.
  22. Well that makes sense then put that way. I’ve never looked much into the 6. I bought that brand new FZ09 and got rid of it after only 2 months and a handful of rides. Hated absolutely everything about it but the motor. The motor and power delivery were awesome. Suspension, handling, ergos, brakes all sucked. Rode it with Tpoppa and a few others at a slower than our normal pace and still had a hell of a time keeping a good line. Took it to the Gap and made 2 passes and parked it and rode the Grom the rest of the weekend and listed it for sale on the drive home lol. Hated that fucking bike. Which sucked because I wanted to love it but it was going to be 3k or better to fix those items. Hope the 6 is much better to you
