15 years of riding I've never been on a track. Thinking of doing a novice day at mid-ohio but not sure if I should bother with my tank of a bike. Any input??
As I get older, I am taming my riding position as you can see by my current bike. Next step (last step) may be a Concours, but I will never consider a Harley. All hype to me. My neighbor just bought a brand new one....looks nice.
Used about 10 miles. They are 50mm clipons that are adjustable and have about a 1" rise. Just like the ones in the link below, but have less rise. I paid $175 for them....$80.00 Thanks https://www.denniskirk.com/597914.sku?utm_source=shopping&utm_medium=cse
Must likely a full exhaust/Guhl ECU flash/k&N. I just put a GPR stabilizer on it in anticipation of high speed runs/drag racing. Tried some shorty levers on it, but took them off. 15 years of riding with factory levers....Externally it will look stock.
Nick..once I get used to this thing well have to get em side by side and see how they compare.. I had a 1st gen as well. Brian: Didnt that happen once or twice last season? I am seeing a theme here
I'm going to putt around peninsula today at 1ish if anyone wants to get out. Brand new bike...new tires....cold roads....1st ride of the year....needless to say my pace will be slow!! If that doesn't bore you to death....Lmk
