For being a tech store, they sure haven't figured out how technology can assist them in checking people out. Who manually writes sales orders anymore? Why do you need my name, address, and phone number to buy a pair of ear buds, or a cable? Like I am going to take your advise on a TV; your cash register is one step above a typewriter. I waited in line this morning for about 35 mins and one person in the line I was in got checked out. I finally left and ran over to Lowes and bought a Shop Vac for my dad, went back to HH Gregg and the same people were still in line. I know because one of them was a guy I used to work with. So I stood there and talked to him for about 20 mins, and then decided to get back in line again. Lucky for me I must have gotten in the correct line because I was checked out before the guy I used to work with. All for an MP3 player for my mom. Oh well it was for my mom. /rant.

Thanks guys, we are leaving the hospital here in about 20 mins or so. We are all ready to go home. I'll post some pics of her when I get to my PC.

Good job Hoblick. The most memorable moment for me was the Pickering House poker run. Between Maxpower having a dead battery and having to leave his bike running at all the stops. Someone shutting it off on him and us trying to find a jump for him. To ending up at walmart to replace his battery, and finally the soaking rain for most of the afternoon. Oh and Todd blew up his bike. Even though there was alot of shit that happened that day, I'd do it again because we had alot of fun, well at least I did.

I have the droid 2 aswell just got it Monday, I like it, there are still quite a few things I need to figure out. It's much better than my old Moto Krave.
-
I also use the skull candy ink'd. I think they work well. Occasionally I get one caught while putting my helmet on, but I readjust it and it's fine.

When I first tried the droids a few months ago my bill for 2 phones and unlimited everything was close to 200 a month. I'm around 150 now.

Not going to make it out there, still working on the babys room. But I have 3 pumpkins here if anyone wants to pick them up.

Looking for a 1988 - 2000 Honda Goldwing 1500 with Reverse. I would like it with a good motor and rear end. Shoot me a PM if you know of one. Thanks,

Use the internet, we don't post deals anymore, people tend to get upset thinking they may be losing business if the price is better then a sponsors. I mean I got nothing.

Did you pay the extra cash for next day delivery? I placed my order late Wednesday night and was told I won't get them until Monday...

Power supplies are a tricky item. They are the one thing I don't go cheap on. If you go with something too cheap you get dirty shitty power to the board. But I also don't spend more then $100 on power supplies. Usually my PS runs around $65 or $70, but if you can find a good one that has an instant discount or mail in rebate you can get them sub $50. I had an Ultra power supply that I had no issues with, worked great for about 5 years. Now I have a 600W OCZ Fatality. It's modular and I've had it for about 3 years with no problems. It's also 80 Plus Certified to save on some electricity.

I may be able to make it, it depends when the new baby arrives.

The price is 139.99 plus normal taxes and fees. So if you wife or domestic partner (if your into that sort of thing) want the internet and will use it it will probably save you money. Best way to know is to call.

Time or patience? You can normally assemble a PC in about 45 mins. Then the rest is loading software. Once you start an install you can walk away from it periodically and start installs when you get a chance. But to each their own. Personally I love building PC's from scratch because of the reasons Cypress mentioned. You get what you pay for, everyone knows it and its very much that way in the computer realm.

I used to use Tiger Direct for all my builds, but over the last 2 or 3 years I have been using New Egg. They seem to have better prices and discounts on shipping. I usually compare prices between the 2 and buy from both if Tiger Direct has an awesome deal on something I want. I've built about 20 PCs over the last year or so, and only really had an issue with one of them, after about a year the PS died, it got a power surge though. The manufacturer covered the replacement under warranty. So what manufacturers does everyone like?? Cases - Ultra or Antec Power Supplies - OCZ or Ultra Processors - AMD and AMD only Hard Drives - Western Digital or Seagate Memory - OCZ or Crucial Optical Drives - Sony or LG Motherboards - ASUS Video Cards - BFG Tech or XFX Sound Cards - Sound Blaster only Anyone else use any other brands they really like?

You better have a set if your going to try that. Gimp.

I would suggest building one, it's not hard and you know your getting quality parts. Although it may be a bit more expensive to begin with you probably won't have as many problems with it if you stay off the PRON....

Ok I am expecting a little bit of a kick back for all you guys saving money. Glad some of you are getting a deal.
-
Nope I'm not hooking them up with anything, besides I've seen it a few times on Facebook. It's Verizon's deal, I had nothing to do with it.
-
I am a current Verizon customer and qualified for the promo plan. I think it was aimed at current customers. I just wanted new phones, so it worked out for me. Yes, Sprint is still a little cheaper but I get service in PA with Verizon and not with Sprint. It depends where you go. Like I said just an FYI, if it saves you some dough, sweet. If not, well that works too.

Verizon is running a promo right now. I guess they decided Sprint was taking some of their business. Unlimited text, internet and email for 69.99 for a solo plan (450 minutes) and 139.99 for family plan (1400 minutes). 19.99 for additional lines on the family plan. I switched my plan, it requires a one year agreement, and I got 2 Droid 2s for an extra 75 bucks each. I got a special price on the droids because I was thinking about switching to Sprint for the cheaper package deal but since Verizon lowered their prices I asked if they could hook me up with a discount on the droids. Hopefully the new phones will be here on Monday. They will not combine employer discounts with this plan. The plan isn't for a set amount of time and then goes up, the CSR told me as long as you keep the plan the price stays the same. I liked the droid I had before but couldn't justify $200 a month for cell service. Just an FYI. I think the invite to the promo was only sent to certain people, below is the link to the invite. https://email.vzwshop.com/servlet/website/ResponseForm?OSPEUT_9_9_z_UU_0Hsr_.2eHmH_wkhthEitHNFiHJILss...DgLmSee
