  1. Lol,I know the feeling.I just like to come in here and screw with conservatives. They're so easy, just mention Obama,Clinton, guns or taxes and they froth like Pavlovian dogs. As far as the FJR Forum, that stuff seems to happen every few years.I don't go there to often any more.
  2. Just don't come to the politics sub forum,or just go over to the FJR Forum, they wisely don't allow politics or religion.
  3. This is why I'm loving this election. If you're looking for God you will never find him/her/it in politics. If you read the bible it was the politicians that killed Jesus, both the religious politicians and the governmental politicians. There is nothing new under the sun,but yet the republicians always tried to claim the moral highground and look down their self righteous noses at us libs.By supporting Donald Trump the farce has been exposed...the republican party is NOT the party of God.There is no party of God.As the great Noble winner Bob Dylan said,'politics is the work of Satan."
  4. I wish it would be over too, but it will never be over. After the election it will just move on to congressional investigations and slinging shit back and forth... same as it ever was. I'm just going to enjoy my shit sandwich.Got any mustard?
  5. This whole poultry fucking fetish seems a little nasty to me.I think I'll stay with fucking with sheep...or conservo-nazis. Can't wait to get me some good old fashion liberal judges.
  6. And just a way to side step blame.I can already hear them after the election..."I didn't vote for them."
  7. A pretty good summation of our presidential choices.Like I said,I'm going with Stalin,it worked for us back in the 40's.
  8. Seems to be going over about as good as it did three years ago.But hey it's Halloween time might as well drag the dead bodies out of the crypt and look at them.
  9. Got a nice 310 mile ride in...78,536,556,145,9,147 and slabbed back on I70.She is just about broke in, 961 miles on the clock.
  10. Put lower side case supports on the FJ09 so I can use the FJR side cases on it.Also installed mirror extensions...big improvement!Changed oil and filter, lubed the chain and removed a sticker from the gas tank, then went for a 50 mile ride up 666,208 and 93.

  12. Since you have worked construction I was going to suggest either construction management or safety coordinator on large projects.I took a look at your profile and I noticed you are 23.At 23 the possibilities are limitless!Take a hard look at what you like to do, maybe get some assessment for career training.Move if you have to,but don't just settle. If you don't like what you do for a living it's going to be a long shitty trip,I don't care how much money you make.Don't rule out school, there's over 300 million people in this country, you need to set yourself apart with skills or education. You might very well be able to get financial help with school because of your accident.Train hard, work hard, keep a good attitude, help others and go for what you want. I'm looking at this from the opposite side of the career path...I'm 56 and will be retiring in about three years.I know you can't imagine 56 from where you are now,but believe me it gets here A LOT faster than you think.Make some good decisions now and you can have a very good life in this country.Good luck!!!
  13. I'll try to get some pics up either tomorrow or Sunday. It's been a long time since I have tried to post pics on this forum,so we'll have to see how it goes. It sounds like a great idea to meet up for some riding next year.I know we both like the same type of roads.
  14. Outstanding post!Sorry I could only give you 1 positive rep.
  15. Silly post. You're usually much more insightful than this.I have nothing I need to prove to you.
  16. We are all profiting from their sacrifices. If it helps you by wearing rose colored glasses,by all means enjoy.
  17. Right.I'm sure the native Americans, slaves, indentured servents, Chinese,Irish might have different view of our charitable nature.
  18. The two yahoos we have to choose from for president is just another indicator of a society that is sick to it's core. Self serving greed made this country great and it is now destroying it...sort of live by the sword, die by the sword.
  19. I noticed you are from the Cincinatti area so the ride I'm about to mention might be a little to far east, but it's such a good ride I have to mention it.Starting on 33 near Logan take 374 through the Hocking Hills area to 56.374 goes by Old Man's Cave and Ash Cave, both are beautiful this time of year.Once on 56 head east to 691 and go north. At Nelsonville 691 will end at 33,go straight across 33 and you will be on 78.78 is one of the best roads in all of Ohio, especially from Glouster to Malta.Once you get near Malta you can either stay on 78 over to 83 north to I70,or go even farther east on 78 and pick up I77 at Caldwell.Another very good option...near Malta you can turn off 78 and go south on 377.377 runs along a ridge line for miles with nice open sweepers all the way to 550.At 550 you would be some what near Athens where you can pick up 50 or 33 and start heading west. From where you live this would be an all day ride, but it's hard to top 374,78 and 377,especially this time of year.
  20. I wish I knew you was going to be out and about,I rode a lot of the same route Tuesday.I was taking pictures so I only rode about half of what you did.The trees were definitely peeking!I'll try to post some pics in the next few days.
  21. A big happy birthday wish to Chuck Berry who turns ninety today!Mr Berry is at the top of a handfull of people who created rock and roll and changed history. When he walked into Chess records in Chicago to record at the studio where Muddy Waters was recording American, and world music, was forever changed. Thanks Mr Berry, you have made my life a MUCH better trip! "...all of Chuck's children are out there playing his licks, come back baby ,Rock and Roll never forgets." http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/2016/10/18/498372781/chuck-berrys-90th-birthday-present-a-new-album
  22. BTW, you might get better results at the independents or small shops than you will at the big dealers.I can think of two times a small shop and an independent got me back on the road when the big guys were going to leave me hanging. One was just in July ...thank you K&B of Petaluma, kiss my ass Yamaha of Santa Rosa.
  23. You posted while I was posting, sounds like you'll be fine.
  24. Time to pull out the AAA RV Plus Card... they 'll haul it a hundred miles, there has to be someone with a tire within a hundred miles.
