Completely agree. In my opinion there is no issue with the ammo or the name but because of the overly sensitive PC culture that is New America, it is something I could absolutely see a defense lawyer exploiting Can you imagine if Zimmerman used these in his gun? I am the first person that will criticize and hate on American Unions for various reasons. However, in this instance I do agree 1000%. Like anywhere and any thing, you'll have your good and you'll have you're bad. Until there are more cases of bad than good, I have a hard time being influenced

Based on that interaction with State Farm your only choice is take the $7500 and stfu or get a lawyer and pursue the $7500 plus the $2800 plus lawyer fees. I'm willing to bet after working with an Insurance companies in house console that you'll have less than $7500 if you fight it too hard and that is what State Farm is banking on you figuring out and saying forget it and accepting the $7500

Definitely consult a lawyer but just from that snippet that is a pretty common release form from an Insurance company. Since it doesn't specifically name the insured client in that quote you are able to go after them for the rest of the funds you're asking for. Basically it's an indemnity clause so State Farm isn't on the hook for anything you want after the fact

You're stuck and the other insurance company is trying to minimize your payment out of their pocket. The form is however somewhat standard once an agreement has been reached. I have these filled out for any mishap for my company that isn't paid by our insurance policy
