  1. parking isn't the issue I was thinking, its navigating 129 with that long of a setup unless you know another way in to Fontana?
  2. What size trailer to fit 15 bikes? I think I know the way you are thinking to load them but my guess is with that large of trailer you'd have to drop them off at the north end of 129? Cool idea and hope it works out for ya!
  3. As someone who used to work in logistics, shipping something that large that far I'd be shocked if you find a cheaper option
  4. damn if it was perforated I'd be all over it. I think I can still fit into a JR XL
  5. is an Alaskan Trust a real thing or you just joking? I ask as I have never heard of it
  6. would this be for selling the bike? If so I would make sure you had dollar bills in hand and deposited to a bank before even crating it up to ship I'd also make the seller be responsible
  7. no he is a weird workout buff and doesn't eat. I constantly make fun of him for being a girl
  8. heard it on the radio this morning and have been trying to convince my buddy who is laid off to get his ass to lizardville right now and wait his merry beer loving ass in line to get a 6 pack to split between a couple friends and that I'd buy his bottle for him but he is being a giant vag
  9. sweet! iOS maps blew, but you could easily fanagle them
  10. It is perfectly acceptable to go to that area without riding the Dragon. Though if its your first time it's kind of something you have to do. My first time through I was nervous as all hell but pretty much went the speed limit the whole way and was fine. I had very little skill that first trip
  11. We cashed out our 401k 2 years ago due to cost. That is why I have a Roth IRA now
  12. unless you know how to play it right like myself. Get the ideas and then research them further myself and make my decision I don't remember as I set it up almost 2 years ago and haven't even touched it. With buying the house and other stuff I put that on the back burner and now that I'm settled in and have my budget all lined out I wanted to take the time to look into this exact stuff so this is great info, thanks!
  13. and everyone thought it was just a sandbox for the little guy...
  14. I do have a Roth IRA already and my first thought was to just dump it all in there but figured I would get some other ideas before going that route Beyond savings accounts and cd's, I know very little about long term investing which is why I figured this would be a good place to start getting ideas to look in to
  15. I probably should've mentioned...Apocolyptic future aside
  16. If you had $10k to invest for the future, what would your plan be? What would your plan be if you were pretty conservative and didn't wan't to have to constantly maintain it
  17. i would be the idiot to get off the bike without disconnecting the tether and looking like a damn blowfish
  18. not as soft as you'd think. I still work in the garage and yard here from time to time plus all the shit I work on at the house and in my garage
  19. sounds about right, I figured it would be 20 or 24". Had to be steel then, I'm intrigued to find out more details of who the contractor was that did it or if it was old pipe or what not. That is a bit farther south than we work so nobody in the office knows any more than what is in the news yet
  20. if you can do it cheaper than Raven I would just go your route
  21. I actually think there are far more NEO's than Cinci folk
  22. I'm fairly positive that we did as well
  23. So the little bit of inside info we've gotten is that it is a Columbia Gas line and they think foul play could be involved. However, this was from inside the company so I'm guessing they wouldn't admit a faulty line until they knew for sure and needed it fixed, even to us. I haven't had time today though to dig into exactly what line it is or anything to see what kind of pipe, pressure and age of the line is though
  24. rent a dirt cheap place in Bolivar so you have a weekend place where you can stay and the bike is already stored at. Problem solved!
