  1. So let's talk more in depth about tires. Still unsure what I should end up with. I think I need further opinions and research. Who else wants to pipe in with suggestions

ehhh been twice and have found it highly overrated. Wife hasn't been so might give it another shot
  3. Oh shit why didn't I think of that. My buddy works for dealer tire. Might have to ask him
  4. Not shocking since the Great Divide of 2008
  5. If it had good tires on it this is the route I was going to take. But I can't bring myself to buy wheels and tires now then have to still buy tires again in the spring
  6. Pirelli's look good and I do very much enjoy the sound Pirelli's make
  7. typically I drive 20-25k a year so that's why tread life is #1 importance with shitty weather handling being #2
  8. what's your flavor? Really all I'm looking for is something that doesn't suck in the snow and can last 50-60k miles so they will last me 2-3 years
  9. I'm open to suggestion. I've just had two different people suggest these ones which is why I was looking at them. I've only had 1 experience with Goodyears and they only lasted 30k miles but were a much cheaper model
  10. Edit: nevermind not worth addressing
  11. I want to use the NTB next to my office for the convenience factor. They said they couldn't get the goodyears so to go the tire rack route. Wonder if they would still use tires ordered elsewhere If it means paying a few bucks more I can swallow that but if I can find a place I'll save $75-100 then I would change plans to save that amount
  12. Anyone use a cheaper option than tire rack? Need new tires for the daily before winter and so far the tirerack / install at the NTB next to my office combo is $550 after a mail in rebate on the tires for 215/60/16 Goodyear Assurance TripleTred All Seasons.

Sweet those are all stops on this bus tour thing so I'll make sure of that. She got any restaurant or brewery recommendations?

I've been to Pitt several times but always for work and never as a tourist. Wife wants to do a day trip and came up with this Hop On, Hop Off bus tour thing in Pitt since one of her friends just moved there. So I need suggestions of must see/do things as well as restaurant and brewery recommendations other than Primanti Bros and FatHeads since those are been there done that's.
  15. That's what I figured. Just wanted a cheap entry for now and if the bug bites me then I will upgrade
  16. so I ended up winning a cheap Schwinn Network 3.0 700C Hybrid in an auction. Picking it up tonight so hopefully it checks out to what they said because I couldn't pass it up for $50
  17. That Sunday route I'm pretty certain that is the same route we did my last GAP trip. We left at 8am and returned around 8pm. That included several gas stops, lunch stop and a long dinner stop we were waiting out rain. It's a fantastic route
  18. in reality I think it would have to be like 22k but I don't have that soooo $3k it is
  19. The kid is a boy. That's why he's playing the correct Football. Casper is doing the right thing
  20. Considering I couldn't keep the Zuma off my ass on the Dragon, you're not wrong in the least bit
