    ^^^^^ The Stop n Go kit plugs work well. - I've used it in 2 rear tires that I ran to near cords. - Ive never tried the co2 cartriges. For a long trip I pack the slime compressor.

    Macinaw Island is cool, but def with a wife or GF type place. Kinda expensive. ATVs on the dunes is a riot. -- Other than that, I wouldnt go to MI on purpose. - Ive had to go to Detroit many times for job related stuff. Whata dump....

    My understanding is that the helmet is required for one year after your endorsement date. After that - optional. I think also there is an under 18 requirement. - Get caught under one year? Insta ticket.

    I have a serious affliction of MBS. I am down to 2 for the moment. Also I am permanently VFRed. I may rotate around a bunch of other bikes, but I have to have a VFR as a mainstay ride.

    Very nice example - $3600? too much, mbe $2700 -- 2900 tops 9k miles though, kinda rare. - I owned a 4th gen before my 5th gen. Great ride!

    Mine is in the never sell column. Attacking twists, SPORTtouring in the mountains 3 states over, some commuting, some just cruising is why I have had a VFR of some form for the last ten years. -You could put clip ons on the FZ1, tweak the forks and stick a Penscke in the rear.... that might make it more sporty for you.
