  1. Will anyone with a t-shirt for me be at Super-bike weekend at Mid-Ohio? I will be there all weekend.
  2. Almost makes you think that Halliburton is in the health care "industry".........oh wait, wrong president.....disregard ....... I don't know much of the details of new law, but i don't being forced to buy something. Maybe we can start a company called Ohio Riders Care, and make money selling minuim health care at minium prices?
  3. I went on the Louie Run once. I went with a group of 6 other friends, 4 Harleys, a Honda Shadow and my 82 Suzuki. Of course, our segment of the ride starts out at a Harley dealer in Bedford Hts. I was the only one in the full parking lot that I could see with a proper riding jacket, and a helmet. I had a Joe Rocket riding jacket with the Suzuki logo on it. I go inside to get some water and it was like the parting of the Red Sea as all the doo-rag, black Harley t-shirt from location X wearing guys move out of the way. The cool part of the whole ride was the police escort and not needing to stop at traffic lights.
  4. DANG IT!!........that one is sweet too......HUMM>>>>>>
  5. Sorry to hear about your friend.
  6. Would be a marketing idea for the "trend of the month" book "Fifty Shades of Grey".
  7. No real content to add, but when the LA Kings hockey team won the Stanley Cup, I did not see any news reports about hockey fan riots.
  8. I am in for a maybe: It is blue, naked and round headlight
  9. Happy Father's Day to all. Create some menories with your Dad and kids. Recall the great the memories if your father has passed. My plans would have been to go downtown to the new casino or to go to the outdoor range with my dad today. I still might do one of those things since that was the plan for today.
  10. Dang it that it wasn't the 9mm version. FINALLY something for sale in NORTH EAST OHIO!!
  11. I will be in the campground, by Honda bridge, so around turn 6 and 7.
  12. I had a 1984 Honda Civic. Around 170K, the car changed its own oil. I had to add a quart every month. I kept that car until the sheet metal rotted out around the front upper bearing plate and pushed the strut through the hood.
  13. I like the Zombie hunter permit
  14. I think i found a new facebook friend.....
  15. The older bikes have a coolness to them. Neat that it is your original bike and it has stayed in the family. I am working on getting my very first motorcycle back which I sold in 1993. ( my first was a 1972 Honda 500 Four)
  16. It is with a heavy heart, my father passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning. He was home for 2 weeks. 12 great days of talking with Dad. I talked to Dad last night about 10 PM. I thanked him for being my Dad and raising me right. He gave me a hug and blinked his eyes. Official time was 4:07 AM. Ironic thing about the number 407. Dad was Teamster rep for Local 407. One of his hospital room numbers was 407. I miss him already.
  17. this one is on my short list too, but looks like i am too far in line to actually have a chance at this
  18. Oh no.........sweet ride.....dang that you are selling it. GLWS LBTS ( NOT!!)
  19. I don't think i will post any more in this thread, other then a picture or two. Today was a great day. It was just me and dad. He was awake and alert. We watched some of the Nascar race and some of the horse races. We talked about life and memories. Dad stayed awake with me for 7 hours straight and we talked. I managed to build some type of ramp that should be good enough. Sunday we will be out on the patio drinking Crown Royal. I think that is the picture I will post. Thank you everyone for all the kind words and sharing stories.
  20. I am also sending my thoughts and prayers to all those going through cancer related illness or have lost loved ones. Later in the year I am thinking about having a "Fuck 2012" get together. I am picturing a bon-fire, writing down why 2012 sucked, and burning those notes. Oh, and beverages, if needed.
  21. Thank you. You might find it helpful to read some of the information on-line at Western Reserve Hospice website. You also need to be strong for family and friends. THere is no manual for this, just do what you feel is right.
  22. Since it seems wrong to call you by the first part of your screen name, I'll call you Mr. GSXR, thank you for the link. I will look into this.
  23. Thanks man. I am taking some measurements tonight. My plan for tonight is to just carry dad outside, even if it just for 20 minutes. I build the ramp SAturday. I REALLY REALLY thank everyone that has shared on this thread. This does suck alot, but i am thankful to have the chance to be able to say goodbye.
  24. I didn't realize how everyone has been touched by somebody with cancer. It seems we all carry some baggage about events and lost loved ones with us. Speedy, I will call ya Saturday, thank you man. Todays goal is to get dad outside on the deck.
