  1. A quick and easy way to make socket heads on a mill or lathe is to use a rotary/wobble broach. I didnt check the links that were posted so i assume you found your bolt.
  2. This reminds me that i need to start doing hill work. Also have thought about doing some trail running as well. A change of scenery would be nice also. Some days it get old watching the asphalt go by.
  3. Getting fit for the right pair of shoes will do wonders. A random pair of nike shox isnt going to get it. Starting out thats what i was wearing because thats what i already had. Switching to a pair of real running shoes and actually having your foot measured makes a world of difference. The Saucony's i have now dont look the coolest but feel 1000x better to run in.
  4. Unfortunately i am going to have to skip this one. My Lake Erie fishing/camping trip has been moved up to this weekend. Got to take advantage of 1 foot or less wave forcast with nice weather. Ive been out there too many times in crap weather. I'm sure you all will have great time!
  5. Unfortunately it does take a lot of will power. It also helps to remove the things or actions that you used to like to smoke doing. Drinking beer was a killer for me. I quit 4+ years ago but I will still want and have 1 or 2 if I'm drinking. When I initially quit I had to not drink at all. My wife quit for over a year and has just recently started back.
  6. I could meet you along 75. Needmore exit? Then head down 75 to 35 to 71 and meet up with scuba.
  7. Southwest Region Saturday morning meet-up thread: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?p=990064#post990064
  8. Scuba, I could meet you at the 71/35 interchange. There is a Love's truckstop/gas station there. https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=ll What time you planning on rolling thru that area? Going that way would only add maybe 15 minutes travel time for me.
  9. Is anyone in the Dayton area leaving Saturday mourning heading to the meet spot? Or is there a SW meet spot descibed in the "Epic Ride" thread somewhere? Thats alot of pages to thumb through and may have missed it. If there isnt i'm leaving Troy at 8:00am and SuperSlabbin' I75/I70. Google maps says just over 2hrs from my house. So that gives me a bit of a cushion to get to the meet spot. Anyone that whats to meet me aong the way or i can meet you let me know.
  10. Welcome from just north of you in Troy.
  11. I've accidentally got drunk with George Jones playing in the back ground on more than one occasion. Listening to classic country seems to do that for some reason.
  12. Its deserving if he thinks so. Anyways, back to the hater-ade: I cant think of a bike thats a total abomination, but i will say that there are a few bikes that one or two components just fucks then up. Like the Honda Fury. I think it looks good for a production chopper style bike. I just cant get past the shaft drive on it. Totally kills the look for me. The B-King is the same way. It looks alright up until you get to the tail section.
  13. ORIGAMI MASTER I AM!!!!
  14. I have a bolt on Mircon can that i took of my 05 GSXR. Here is a pic from when it was on the bike: Not the best picture but.... Here is a better picture i found:

    New truck

I need to do the same just to get a basline of when it was done last.

    New truck

Do not have the extender. Going to do a couple preventive mods this week. One being the axle vent. Apparentley rear seal leakage is a common problem.

    New truck

The Crew cabs i had looked at having that extra space was nice but not really a must for me. If i had older kids i could see myself needing the extra room. The King cab still has plenty of room for car seats so it works. Now i need to see about fitting a wheel chock to the Utili Track in the bed. I think thats a pretty neat feature to have come on a truck.

    New truck

Well new to me anyway. After looking at some fords, chevys and some GMC's i went with a 05 Nissan Titan LE. It seems to have been well maintained and not abused unlike alot of the other trucks i have looked at. I did have to drive north east of Lexington, Ky. to pick it up. Titans that i had looked at semi-locally with roughly the same miles and options were priced $2000-$3000 higher. So a small rode trip seemed worth it.

  20. It wasnt that cold. Leaving a stop light you could see the plume and trail of smoke it left behind. Even when we checked it out away from the guys house, we would rev it up some and it would belch out smoke. It wasnt the its cold out and it disapated smoke. Im talking cloud that hung around. Definatley had motor issues. I had 137K miles on it. We have all seen that car going down the road smoking like a freight train. Unfoutunatley that Nissan was one of them.
  21. Well the F350 was sold when I got there. So I test drive aF250. Kinda a turd so I went to look at the Titan. So after looking it over he gave me the keys and took it for a drive. It rode nice, plenty of power and then pulled into a side street to look it over again. That's when it started smoking out the tail pipe. That was the deal killer. White/ blue smoke like water and oil both were burning. Never cleared up and took it back. I told the guy I would have bought but not with that. Now I just need to find one that doesn't smoke.
