Here is mine. This was when I was still in the process of moving our business out of it and moving my personal stuff in. It is getting a lift next month and insulation later this year. Why are you selling?

My plan was to get on within the next 6 months. I was going to budget around 2k. Tonight I was at dunhams and looked at this. http://www.dunhamssports.com/products/cannon-safari-36-gun-fireproof-safe/ Great price but I know it is on the cheap end of things. Right now I can't swing 2k, due to recent break ins around me I feel the urge to get something. Right now, the box I have can be broken into with a big screw driver or carried out the door. Only 1/4 of my guns will fit in this cabinet that I currently have. I know this safe from dunhams could be gotten into with a dull blade but it is double the security than what I currently have. It would atleast slow someone down. Any opinions before I pull the trigger? It is marked down in the store for $679. Also has built in door pocket. Any better deals than this floating around?

I too support your decision. Who cares when your spark was lit to buy one. Some people are still just now getting turned on to these types of guns on a daily basis. Besides if you can justify the price you paid for it to your wife then fuck everyone else.

There is a big deference in fair and what you could get for it right now. You could easily get $1600 for that at a good price for someone on this board within a day or two. Or go to a gun show and profit big dollars. If you want to sell just the ammo, let me know and ill buy it for a market price

Just post a friendly good deals post with the links in the gun forum. If they don't suck, no one there is going to give you a hard time there about them.

I would like to see if some people would share opinions, knowledge, and pics of some storage. I tried searching and didnt bring much results on this topic. Right now I have a cheap stack on safe that I have easily outgrown. I have also seen Ford escorts with thicker sheet metal than this piece of shit. It was free and keeps my kids out. I am in the market for something better. I have a mix of long guns and pistols but I want something big. My latest concern is fire protection. I am really interested in storing irreplaceable items inside as well. I am seriously considering buying a big 64 gun cabinet. The problem is that for one with decent fire protection and the e-lock added, it gets pricey. I love the inside door pouches that you can buy as well. Let's see what you have and/or what you would like to have.

It was more BS than seriousness. Most of my mags are brand new and I really am not in the market to get rid of them. I have just the amount I want to have. I'm not all about price raping people but it would take a lot to get me to let them go. Plus, I paid too much for them as well. It's our building on the farm and it is done by the most polular builders out here. We do not negotiate prices with them because they do not negotiate prices with us when we do work for them. Who am I to beat them down on their prices when they pay mine? I have three of their buildings at my home. And we have one done by someone else who is comparable. Come price anything from the amish in this area and you will be shocked at the results. Especially if it is furniture or cabinets. The average amish customer cabinets out here are easily $25k-30k

After reading this again I am bothered about the part where "weapons" are grabbed and then begging for weapons be surrendered for an ol' fashioned brawl. The biggest problem I have with straying away from Vances is their selection. Normally, when I decide I want something or even on an impulse buy, I know they will have it. It is hard for me to have to wait when i struggle to justify the purchases I make at times anyways.
