I dont know what they are called or know much about them. When I tried to look for some I got lost in all the different variations. On this style the they are just rails with covers on them correct? The only thing I know that I don't want is the forward verticle grip. I hate them.

I don't disagree but I didn't see any trigger mods as a must have right away? I'm just wanting to get it up and operational. I would set it up exactly like my duty weapon if I knew what parts were used. My priorities: Bore snake, hand guards, and a legit must have item(if applicable)

I tried doing some online searches but didn't get any type of answers that I was looking for. I'm not looking to quickly or completely build my AR but I wouldn't mind changing a few things soon. I don't want to put a whole bunch of Chinese silly fucking parts on it that I will never use either. I know I'm going to get an aimpoint. Other than that I have no big plans. I do however, want to change out my hand guards. I just don't know exactly what I want. My onowledge on these things are limited as far as parts go. Recommend me some hand guards and show some pics if you can. Is there any other "must have" parts? Before anyone asks, I am pretty proficient with this weapon. I have had a lot of time behind this weapon throughout my military career. I just have never owned one nor do I know of all the aftermarket parts available. I have plenty of ammo and magazines are on their way. I don't want to go crazy, I just want a part or two to make it my own. First, the hand guards. I don't want to join another forum either. I have my hands full with this forum and I know there are enough educated people here that can help me out if they are in the mood to do so.

399 for 820 limit 1. Not the best price for sure but they are there. Only about 10 more left when I checked out tonight. I don't know how much will be around. Half the store was standing around the AR section. The guy that helped me said that they would be there until after 11pm due to the amount of people still in the store when they closed the front doors at 8pm. I got there at 6 and left at 830. Prob a 100 people still in there easily. I guess they haven't left before 10pm in a week.

I bought the 820 rounds of tracer ammo tonight. The others I already had. The small one is full of my 7.62 rounds. They were just out there as I was putting stuff away and made it in the picture.

There are still some out there! I was told that yesterday Vances was completely out of all AR everything. Today at 3 pm a truck was delivered. through out the day most of that delivery was sold out. I got one of the last Colts. I must have seen 300 people in and out of those doors tonight. When I walked in the door I was the 93rd person in line. My best purchase of the night was by far the SOG Tactical Tomahawk! Lol, my son loved it and he was a trooper with me there tonight so I had to get it for him. I bought the Rock River lower just because. It was the second to last one that they had left and if shit goes south I'll have another. If things rebound, I'll give it to my brother to start a build. I did luck out on the last two mags that they had. I feel so guilty as a gun lover that I never bought one of these before. It was always my ignorance that I never needed put it on the priority list because they were always available. It definatly feels good to finally have one. I can't wait to start added parts. Don't poke fun at the junk Tru Glow, it is only to have something on there until I decide on a good one.

Thanks. I believe a read that awhile back. It has just been a long time since I last looked into buying an AR. I was going to post up on the one that just sold in the back counter but I wasnt fast enough.

Tomorrow I plan on looking for lower locally. If I can find one I'm going to buy it.

Does anyone know of a place that has lowers in stock? I don't have one and I want to buy one tomorrow. I think I would prefer the LMT or a colt but I guess I will take what I can get for now. My knowledge is limited on these. My experience with them is limited to my military career and my m4. Any lowers to stay away from?

Did you deal with Krieger Ford at all? I know they deal a lot with Roush cars.

Yeah I know. I hadn't decided if I was ready to commit with that much money. I might consider gen 1 only. I don't know.

How do the auto v's compare to the m6? I feel like I would want a manual but at the same time im wondering if auto wouldn't be the way to go. My wife would be more on board and long drives would be better. I just can't help but feel like the manual would be more fun. I have a work truck so I only drive my personal vehicle 200 miles a month at the most. Dover, where did you sell your old V? I'm trying to find a good place to look for used ones.

Do yourself a favor and check out night therapy mattresses at samsclub.com I did a bunch of research on memory foam mattresses as I could not afford the $3800 tempur pedic that my in laws bought. This is a 13" mattress that has an inch and a half gel layer that sleeps way cooler than my inlaws mattress does. Their only complaint is that it sleeps hot. I have had this mattress for two weeks and i have not slept this good in a long time. I was in love the first night. My wife took about 4 nights to adjust but now loves it. It cost me $675 delivered to my door in 4 days and sams club carries a 10 year replacement policy. They will replace it with the same or different mattress. Go to samsclub.com and read the reviews.

Why not do away with the second thermostats and install one two stage tstat to control the wood furnace as a 1st stage and the furnace as an aux stage when the wood fire doesn't keep up. I just had a customer request this last week and with the right tstat it works great.

Okay, well when you pull off a 10 second et in Erics STI with the stock clutch let me know, I'll tell you I was wrong. I have said multiple times already that it has plenty of power to run 10's. It won't run 10's how it sits with Eric driving it. Again, not a slam on him, he just needs a few trips to the track like everyone else.
