I just got word that AMC was making a comeback. I guess it is in the new Hot Rod magazine. Wondering if anyone has read this and can add any more info. I have also been looking for pictures but I havent come up with any. From what I was told the magazine had pictures of a new Javelin, Gremlin, AMX, Pacer, and a few more.

I have a set of bare vortec heads 062 castings with edlebrock performer intake. These heads are the same heads used on vortec 5.7L, but the better casting. They sat in my barn for two years and developed surface rust on them. They might be able to be hot tanked and cleaned up but at worst would just need milled. $300 for the whole package.

I learned on sheet metal and I think it makes you better in the long run because plate is cake afterwards. Not saying that you just have no idea what you are doing but if a friend that has experience is there watching you he can tell you what to do different as you go. You will become a more proficient welder in half the time.

Paul are you still around Marysville? I haven't seen you around at all since I've been home. Now that I think of it, were you by chance at the Craig Morgan show? I thought I saw you at one point but it was from a far distance.

Easiest way is to get someone to show you how. If you just start doing it you could develop a lot of bad habbits and you dont even know what to look for in a good weld. It is hard to know if you are doing a good job or how to get better if you are totally in the dark about it. Have someone you know explain to you what to look for in penetration and charactoristics of a good weld.

Do you have a compressor, and is it clean enough to paint without a lot of dirt? If you do what are the stats on the compressor? Thanks I really look forward to getting some new paint on my truck.

Looking for someone to airbrush also. I need something on my tailgate when I repaint my truck.

My biggest problem is coming up with a place to paint and do just a small bit off filler work before paint. Im looking to get it done soon but dont where to go from here. Even if I could pay someone to do help and do the work in their place and I just assist and help spray. I know how to do body work and I know how to paint.

I have a toshiba 32" that is about 3 1/2 years old I paid almost $600 for. I will sell for $225. Looks brand new, barely ever used.

Why not just get a bender and make your own? Mine is all done by hand and I had a blast doing it. It's a 6 point and I mig welded it to the floor and Tig welded all of the joints so it looks sexy as well. I didn't drop the tank either, cause I don't burn through. I would just go mild steel also, chrome molly can be more difficult for some people to weld and with a smaller cage like that the differences aren't going to be very dramatic.

The only thing I didnt like about it was that it was so short.

I dont eat fast food much anymore, but I think 5 out of the last 8 times I've gone they have screwed it up or forgot to give me something. The food has changed for the worse and the service too. The dollar menu is horrible now. I think Wendy's as a hole is taking a turn downhill.

It is very addicting, I am 10 years strong at snowboarding and its sad to know that I have only had the time to go three times this year.

I guess it doesn't have to be a booth but I need to use or rent out a good clean place that is big enough to lay a custom paint job down on my truck. I would have all my own materials and I have my own guns. Looking for some ideas. Also for those of you who do paint, where is a good place for me to order 3m products from sandpaper to tape and masking paper. I have PPG products but I need to get some more. I know you can pick that stuff up everywhere but if anyone knows a good place to get it I'd like to know also.

I have the sigma .40 and I like it. It is heavy but I shoot well with it. Plus they are on sale for 259.00. My XD has a light ass hell trigger. It is wierd going back and forth. Another gun on sale is S&W M and P 9mm. I love it.

A buddy of mine was on the speeds email list when they were around and has had plenty of emails from them since they closed. He was just telling me the other day that two months or so ago he recieved an email regarding the re-opening of speeds in the near future.
